It took about a dozen people before they called out "Fleeting Years".
"Number 18."
Liu Nian stood up, and Jiang Tao gave her a thumbs-up. Liu Nian replied with an "OK".
As soon as she entered, Liu Nian took off her mask and hat, placed them on a chair to the side, and greeted the directors and photographers.
"Hello everyone! My name is Liu Nian, and I'm here to audition for the female lead."

In the end, the director chose a scene where the female lead was being tortured.
Liu Nian blinked, pondered for a moment, gave an OK sign, and got into character as the camera started rolling.
The female protagonist was heartbroken, her eyes filled with despair, pain and sorrow, but she didn't shed a single tear. The whole process only lasted three or four minutes.
Liu Nian's performance was spot-on. After she finished acting, the director didn't say anything, so I couldn't help but look over out of curiosity.
The directors were all staring blankly at the camera, not snapping out of their daze until they saw Liu Nian looking over.
"Okay! Okay, okay, this is the female lead I've been looking for, Liu Nian. See if the contract is acceptable to you, we'll sign it in a bit!"
The director was so excited! He quickly took out the contract he had prepared beforehand and handed it to Liu Nian to look at.
Liu Nian didn't rush to accept the offer. Instead, she put on a mask and hat before speaking: "No rush. Let the people who come to audition later finish their auditions first. We can talk about the contract later."
Of course the director would agree! He smiled and watched her leave, still very excited inside. Sure enough, he had a keen eye; this was the leading lady he had been looking for.
In the afternoon, the audition for "Beauty of the City" ended, and the director immediately found Liu Nian and invited her to have dinner together, chatting as they ate.
Jiang Tao, as Liu Nian's agent, was naturally present during the meal.
The director, assistant director, and representatives from several investors were all present.

He squinted listlessly, waiting for the arrival of a certain system.
A long beep sounded, followed by a mechanical voice: "Start-up complete! Welcome 025 back in operation!"
Liu Nian opened her eyes, got up, grabbed a bath towel to wrap herself up, and then left the bathroom and returned to her room.
"Host! I'm back!" A childish voice, neither male nor female, rang out.
Ignoring the passing years, I found some clothes to change into and prepared to get a good night's sleep.
System 025: "Host, why are you ignoring me!"
System 025: "Host, I was just fixing a glitch, why are you ignoring me?!" (Baby is upset, but baby won't say it)
