We returned to a bustling area of another city at 10:43 PM.
Liu Nian disguised herself and went to the shopping mall as quickly as possible to buy five or six sets of boys' winter outfits. Then she took a taxi back to the house where Gu Minhang was.
Carrying large and small bags, Liu Nian felt her hands getting tired.
She also found that the city was colder than the other two cities.
Liu Nian, who thought she was dressed just right, is now shivering with cold.
Back upstairs, she entered the door code and quickly went inside.
As soon as she entered the house, she felt a warm breeze and shivered.
Aunt Chen was mopping the floor when she saw Liu Nian return, and she was a little taken aback.
Liu Nian spoke first, her voice deliberately lowered: "Aunt Chen, why aren't you resting so late!"
"I was planning to rest after mopping the floor. Miss Liunian, why didn't you tell me you were coming back? I could have prepared a midnight snack for you." As she spoke, she was about to wash her hands to make something for Liunian.
Liu Nian: "Aunt Chen, stop working, I have something to tell you."
Since Gu Minhang was asleep, she decided to talk to Aunt Chen first.
"Miss Liu Nian, please feel free to say what you have to say."
Liu Nian looked at her and said, "Aunt Chen, I'm planning to move to Kyoto with Civil Aviation. Would you like to come with me?"
Aunt Chen was surprised that Liu Nian had this plan, and she couldn't make up her mind for a moment.
Seeing her hesitation, Liu Nian smiled and said, "It's okay, we still have two months before we move. You can think about it carefully during this time."
"Okay." Aunt Chen nodded, but still a little puzzled, she asked, "Why would Miss Liunian want to move?"
Liu Nian gave a nonsensical answer: "It's a work issue; I'll be coming back here much less often in the future."
After the conversation ended, Liu Nian picked up the bags and packages that had been set aside, went to the door of the children's room, and quietly opened Gu Minhang's room.
The little guy's room was well-heated. Liu Nian watched him sleep through the wall lamp. He had delicate features and his little body was lying flat on his back, sleeping soundly. He was wearing fluffy pajamas.
Liu Nian put the things aside, tucked the blanket around him, and then left the room.
When she came out, she saw Aunt Chen mopping the floor. Liu Nian told her to go and rest first, and added that she didn't need to wake her up tomorrow, and that Gu Minhang shouldn't know that she was back.
Then she went back to her room and locked the door.
She took out her phone and saw that it was almost midnight. After thinking about it, she decided to go back to her duplex apartment.
When she returned, Su Ke and Huang Qi were already asleep. The only light in the room was the wall lamp, which was still on.
She tiptoed back to her room, took a quick shower, and lay down to rest.
The next morning, Liu Nian was woken up by Su Ke. She felt something soft and tender touch her cheek.
When she opened her eyes, she saw a little guy with eyes even bigger than hers staring right into her eyes.
The first words of dialogue in the morning came from a little baby's sweet, childish voice: "Good morning, sister."
Liu Nian reached out and rubbed his cheek: "Good morning, Xiao Ke."
Then I got up to wash up, had breakfast with the little guy, and took him to school.
The temperature dropped a few degrees today. As soon as Liu Nian opened the door, she felt a chill rushing towards her, which startled her so much that she closed the door again.
She pulled Su Ke to put on an even thicker coat, rummaged through his knitted gloves and woolen hat and put them on him, then she also put on a thick cotton coat before going out.
Completely armed by her, Su Ke felt a bit clumsy walking; he felt like he was dressed like a little ball, round and chubby.
Because of the short distance, Liu Nian still chose to walk to take her child.
The cold wind howled, blowing her long, wavy hair wildly, some of it hitting her face and stinging.
After dropping her child off at school, she rushed back, muttering to herself.
"It's so cold, so cold."
I feel this year is colder than usual.
Thinking back to yesterday when she went to see Feng Guiyu, she didn't buy him any clothes to take with her. She wondered if Sister Xu had bought him enough warm clothes.
She has to go out this afternoon to take the little one to buy clothes.
When Liu Nian returned home, Huang Qi was just about to go out to buy groceries. She asked Liu Nian if there was anything she wanted to eat, and she would buy it and cook it for her.
Liu Nian: "I won't be eating at home today. I have some business to attend to and need to go on a long trip. I'll probably be busy for the next few days. Please remember to pick up Su Ke."
After Huang Qi left, Liu Nian returned to her room and disappeared instantly.
When she reappeared, she was already at Gu Minhang's house. After returning to her room, Liu Nian glanced at the time; it was 8:30. She wondered if Gu Minhang had gone to school yet.
She pushed open the door and saw Aunt Chen putting clothes on the little one.
Gu Minhang heard the door open and looked over. He saw it was Liu Nian. Without waiting to put on his coat, he ran over and hugged Liu Nian's leg tightly.
"Sister! When did you get back? Why didn't you call me? I didn't even know you were back."
Liu Nian squatted down to look him in the eye: "I came back late last night, and seeing that you were sleeping soundly, I didn't have the heart to wake you up."
"Did you put those new clothes in the room, Sister?" Because Liu Nian squatted down, the little guy immediately jumped into her arms, took a deep sniff of her scent, and was extremely satisfied.
Liu Nian hugged his small body: "Yes! Did you take it out to look at it? Did you like it?"
"I haven't watched it yet. I'll watch it when I get home from school tonight." Saying this, she stepped out of Liu Nian's embrace: "Will my older sister leave today?"
Last time, because he was injured, Liu Nian stayed with him for a few more days. In the following months, apart from contacting him by phone, she didn't come back to see him.
