Chapter 62 Hotel Full Upgrade

After planning, the next step is to start decorating.

After the expansion, the hotel still retains its original retro style. From a distance, it looks like a castle standing on the earth, exuding a classic and mysterious atmosphere.

The hostel's exterior retains its original Gothic spire, and the previous wooden structure has been replaced with a stone structure.

To suit this feature, Mingyue added towers and corner towers around the hotel, making the entire building look more spectacular.

There is also a row of gargoyle sculptures on the roof of the hotel. They look scary, but they are actually guarding the hotel silently.

When we arrived at the first floor, the hall had become bigger. Mingyue had added tables and chairs in the rest area. This time, the tables and chairs were of different sizes to suit various body shapes.

At the main entrance, three doors were added: large, medium and small.

The restaurant also has tables and chairs of different sizes, as well as menus and tableware of different sizes.

In the second half, apart from Mingyue’s own room, the rest of the building is used as staff offices and a lounge.

Mingyue didn't want the hotel to look like a human company, so she just prepared rooms and let the employees choose and decorate them themselves.

Another area is set aside as a lounge. The lounge is relatively large and is divided into four areas: washing area, dining area, relaxation area, and rest area.

The washing area has high, medium and low sinks, and behind it is a shower room with separate dry and wet areas. When the door is closed, it becomes a completely private space.

The dining area houses a small kitchen and a canteen. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and small oven, as well as a dedicated snack corner. The canteen has a spacious dining table and comfortable chairs where employees can enjoy their work meals or bring their own lunch.

The relaxation area is furnished with a series of comfortable sofas and lounge chairs, where employees can read, chat, or engage in leisure activities. The lounge area is also equipped with a TV and game consoles, allowing employees to do their favorite things here and relax. Mingyue also added separate small cubicles for employees who want a quiet rest space.

The rest area is relatively simple, consisting entirely of sleeping cabins where employees can take a nap or a short break.

These sleeping pods have a streamlined design and look like small space capsules. Although the interior space is small, it is fully functional.

Each sleeping cabin is equipped with an intelligent control system that can adjust temperature and humidity and ensure ventilation to ensure a comfortable sleeping environment. Employees can also call on the system to adjust the environment in the cabin. The system can simulate projections of various environments and white noise.

Entering the sleeping cabin, the interior decoration is mainly soft gray and white, creating a peaceful atmosphere.

The cabin is equipped with a memory foam mattress and an adjustable reading light, allowing employees to adjust the lighting and bed position according to their preferences.

High-density sound insulation materials are installed on the bulkheads to ensure quietness inside the cabin, allowing employees to stay away from outside noise and enjoy a quiet rest time.

Next, let’s decorate the second floor. The gym is spacious and bright, equipped with a series of fitness equipment, including treadmills, dumbbells, barbells and multi-function trainers.

There is also a yoga area with yoga mats and various yoga equipment, as well as a separate dance studio where guests can learn dance or do aerobics.

Mingyue purchased several fully automatic washing machines and dryers from a shopping platform for the laundry room, making it convenient for guests to wash clothes while traveling.

The laundry room also features an ironing board and iron, as well as a seating area where guests can read or relax while waiting for their clothes to dry.

The location of the beauty salon is not yet certain, so Mingyue just divides the area first.

The children's activity room is decorated in bright colors, and the specially coated wallpaper on the walls allows children to doodle with crayons and easily erase them.

The children's activity room is filled with various children's toys and game facilities. There is also a reading corner with a variety of children's books.

The interest classroom is a multi-functional classroom where the hostel regularly organizes various handicraft activities and courses, such as flower arrangement, painting and handicraft classes.

As for the layout of the third floor, Mingyue plans to set up the conference room first and then the cinema.

She designed three styles of conference rooms.

The first is a round table meeting.

This one is inspired by the legend of King Arthur.

In the center of the conference room, a huge round oak conference table occupies the main position. Its surface has been finely polished and waxed, exuding a warm luster. Surrounding the round table, there is a circle of high-backed oak chairs of the same style. Each chair is carved with exquisite patterns, revealing the aristocratic atmosphere of the Middle Ages.

Several oil paintings depicting ancient round-table conferences hang on the walls, adding to the conference room's historic feel. A magnificent crystal chandelier hangs from the ceiling, its light softly casting a shadow over the tabletops, lending the space a sense of solemnity and sanctity. The curtains, made of thick, deep blue velvet, maintain privacy while creating a calming atmosphere.

Mingyue also specially placed a set of knight armor at the entrance of the conference room. The knight in armor was holding a long sword, looking majestic and solemn, as if guarding the order of the conference room.

However, after looking at it for a while, she felt that the knight's armor lacked some of the characteristics of hell, so Mingyue took off the head armor of the knight's armor and turned herself into a headless knight.

Mingyue nodded with satisfaction. Well, now it feels very consistent with the style of hell.

The second type is a witch coven.

The layout of this meeting room is inspired by ancient witch legends and magical rituals.

The room's tones are mainly dark purple and black, creating a mysterious and profound atmosphere.

There is a round starry sky ceiling on the ceiling, with star lights hanging down from it.

The walls are decorated with witches' brooms, magic potion bottles, pendants with various mysterious symbols, and hand-painted murals.

In order to highlight the scene of witches gathering under the full moon, the conference table is a hand-carved round wooden table with ancient astrological maps and mysterious runes engraved on the table top. A red full moon is projected in the middle of the wooden table, as if it is an altar used by witches to cast magic.

Surrounding the table were high-backed wooden chairs, each upholstered in dark fabric and silver embroidery.

Except for the star lights on the ceiling, the rest of the lighting in the room is candles and wall lamps, which emit soft and mysterious light.

The third type is of course the Demonic Council.

The design of the Devil's Conference Room is full of hellish atmosphere, with red and black decorations as the main features.

The walls of the room are decorated with reliefs of demons and flame patterns, creating a strong visual impact.

The conference table was a huge rectangular black stone table with a smooth and cold surface, as if it was extracted from the abyss of hell.

The conference room's seats are designed as high-back chairs with devil horns and wings, each covered in red leather, adding a touch of luxury. The room is illuminated with a dark red light, creating a warm and tense atmosphere.

There were some oil paintings depicting demons, as well as some ancient contracts and scrolls hanging on the walls. The whole conference room was filled with an atmosphere of power and transactions.
