Mingyue input some basic cooking and recipe magic instructions into the magic clay puppet, and then woke up the puppet.
Xiaoman also flew over at this time and stared at it curiously: "Is this the cooking puppet?"
Mingyue nodded and smiled at the cooking puppet: "Welcome, from now on you will be called Gordon. Now I need to prepare lunch, can you help me?"
After receiving Mingyue's instructions, the cooking puppet's eyes flashed: "What do you need Gordon to do?"
Mingyue first instructed the puppet on how to use various tools and ingredients in the kitchen, as well as the location of the ingredients.
The puppet learned very quickly and was soon able to operate independently. It used one long arm to stir the soup in the pot and the other arm to cut the vegetables into thin strips.
However, although every move Gordon made was carried out strictly according to instructions, sometimes it was a bit rigid.
For example, when Mingyue instructed Gordon to add the right amount of salt to a dish, Gordon immediately followed the instruction, but his understanding of "right amount" was obviously different from Mingyue's.
It picked up the salt shaker and poured half of it into the dish, making it too salty to eat. After Mingyue took a bite, her eyebrows raised, while Gordon stood aside innocently, as if waiting for praise.
"Is it delicious? I want to try it too!" Xiaoman also scooped a spoonful to try it. He ate it so quickly that Mingyue didn't have time to stop him.
"Hmm... Water! Water!" Xiaoman's face wrinkled because of the salty taste, and she quickly took a glass of water to rinse her mouth.
Mingyue picked up her staff and typed new instructions into Gordon. "Looks like we need to update the instructions. The puppet doesn't understand the meaning of the right amount, so let's change it to adding 5% of the salt to the dish. Okay, when adding instructions in the future, avoid using these unclear instructions."
Gordon's cooking test was still in progress. Mingyue asked him to beat the eggs. Gordon understood that he needed to use the gentlest force to stir. As a result, his movements were too gentle and the eggs were hardly mixed. In the end, the egg liquid became a pot of thin yellow liquid, which made Mingyue laugh and cry.
Based on these mistakes, Mingyue readjusted the instructions, making the requirements more specific and detailed to reduce misunderstandings by the puppets.
At the same time, she added an additional self-learning section to Gordon's program, allowing it to make appropriate adjustments based on actual conditions as it continues to learn.
Sure enough, after adjusting the instructions, Gordon never made any mistakes when cooking again.
With a new helper in the kitchen, Mingyue can prepare to start the next step: trial operation!
To prepare for the soft opening, she needed a helping hand.
Mingyue muttered to herself, "By the way, where did Xiaohong go? I remember he said yesterday that he had something to do and would be back soon, but he hasn't come back yet."
Xiaoman kindly offered, "Let me help you!"
"Then come with me to clean up the hotel and tidy up the room."
After cleaning the hotel room with Xiaoman, Mingyue went out to visit a slime workshop.
It is said that this is a slime workshop built by a wizard. Mingyue was originally going to go there with Xiaohong, but the wizard disappeared. Mingyue didn't want to wait for him, so she simply took Xiaoman there first. She also brought some cookies she baked herself.
After arriving at the workshop, Mingyue and Xiaoman were greeted by a strange fragrance as soon as they entered the door, and she saw colorful slime sparkling everywhere in the workshop.
A wizard sat behind a huge workbench, mixing something. Behind her was a huge crucible with colorful smoke floating above it.
Noticing someone coming in, the wizard looked up at Mingyue with a sly smile on his face: "Welcome to my workshop, human. What is your purpose here?"
Mingyue explained her purpose, she wanted some slime to make some handmade toys.
The wizard nodded, but offered a trade: "I can give you some slime for free, but I need you to do me a favor. I heard you have access to Solomon and Lucifer, and I hope you can take some photos of them together for me."
Mingyue and Xiaoman showed gossipy expressions at the same time: OvO Is there something going on?
Seeing their expressions, the wizard cleared his throat. "Ahem, don't get me wrong, they're not a couple. My creativity has hit a plateau, and I need some inspiration. If you agree to help take photos, I'll also teach you freeze-frame magic, which can freeze and preserve the scene before you."
"Of course, no problem! I will definitely exceed the task, Master Wizard!"
When Mingyue heard that she could get slime and new magic for free, she immediately agreed.
It's just a photo shoot, right? It won't hurt a thing, Solomon and Lucifer will definitely understand!
The wizard smiled with satisfaction.
"Just call me Nix." She pulled out buckets of slime from under the workbench. The colors of these slimes ranged from fiery red to deep black, each emitting a unique luster. "These slimes have been sorted by color. They are not only brightly colored, but also soft in texture. I hope you can make what you want."
Then she handed Mingyue a scroll with freeze-frame magic recorded on it.
Mingyue remembered the cookies she brought with her, and handed the cookies in the box to Nix when she took the scroll.
"Here are some cookies I made, please try them!"
Nix was a little surprised: "Oh, that's great. I haven't had afternoon tea for a long time. Let's have tea together. I'll prepare the tea."
Nix didn't need to go into the kitchen to make tea. She just waved her wand, and all kinds of tableware and kettle flew out from the kitchen. The clutter on the table was cleared away, and a beautiful floral tablecloth flew over and spread on the table. Following behind were various tableware, which automatically fell into their proper places. The biscuit box that Mingyue brought also opened automatically, and the biscuits inside flew out and landed on a round porcelain plate.
