Chapter 688: Surprise Turns into Fright
Ye Tiandong didn't think much of it. It must have been someone who locked the door when they came in. He had taken a nap and misremembered.
He went back inside, where Cui Hua had already taken out various biscuits, bread, and two bags of instant noodles.
She boiled water and made herself a bowl of instant noodles.
She placed the bowl in front of Ye Tiandong, saying, "It's unfair to make a big boss like you eat instant noodles with me."
"I'm not wronged at all, not at all."
Ye Tiandong was indeed hungry when he woke up. He ate instant noodles and also ate two pieces of bread. "After all these years, you should know me. Why don't you pick and choose what I eat?"
"When we were poor, we ate all sorts of things. How could instant noodles and bread possibly make me feel bad? Cui Hua said, "I'm going back to my room to sleep."
“Sleep here.”
"No, it's too crowded, and you snore, I can't sleep well."

The bed is a bit cramped.
I heard that Ye Qingbai bought this bed.
That brat didn't even know to buy a bigger size.
However, there are advantages to having a small bed.
How comfortable it is for two people to lie together, their bodies pressed close, embracing each other.

“The bed is small, so we can sleep side by side,” Ye Tiandong said to her. “You go to sleep first, and then I’ll go to sleep. That way, my snoring won’t disturb you.”

After Cui Hua finished speaking, she closed the door for him and went back to her own room.
Having important business to attend to tomorrow, Ye Tiandong didn't dwell on it too much. After using the restroom, he decided to go to sleep.
As he came out of the toilet, he unconsciously glanced in the direction of the main room.
This is the house where his father lives. If he could live there now, sharing a courtyard with his son and daughter-in-law, they would be a happy family.
Ye Tiandong shook his head bitterly and went back to his room to sleep.

Ye Rufeng woke up once in the middle of the night to go to the toilet.
After finishing in the toilet, he looked towards the east room and snorted coldly.
He's a perfectly healthy person sleeping in his house, and they still haven't discovered it.
These two are so careless it's outrageous.
If bad guys were to sneak in, they could potentially kill them in their sleep.

He suddenly sat up in bed.

"Go wash your hair first, and then I'll put some mousse on it."
"We'll have breakfast at the hotel."
"Okay, go do your makeup. I'll wash my hair and then we'll head out."
Ye Rufeng sat on the bed, listening to their conversation, and became even angrier.

Ye Rufeng was lying in bed sulking when he heard Ye Tiandong say that he had finished washing his hair and was asking Cui Hua to spray mousse on his hair.
"Alright, that looks great," Cui Hua said. "We can set off now."
"Okay, let's go there as soon as possible to make preparations."
Ye Rufeng was angry, but when he heard their footsteps, something suddenly occurred to him, and he jumped up from the bed.
I put on my shoes and hurried out the door.
He almost forgot that they had locked the door from the outside and he couldn't get out.
"Wait a moment." Ye Rufeng came out of the main room, his voice urgent and almost cracking.
Ye Tiandong was opening the door when he heard a familiar voice suddenly come from inside. He paused for a moment, thinking he was hallucinating.
Cui Hua turned around and saw the old man standing on the steps of the main room. She looked as if she had seen a ghost. "Uncle Ye?"
Ye Tiandong glanced sideways...
Upon seeing the old man's unfriendly expression, their faces instantly filled with terror.
Where did the old man come from?
When Cui Hua saw Ye Rufeng, she was so shocked that she couldn't speak for a long time.
After a long pause, she finally managed to stammer out, "Uncle Ye, what are you doing at home?"
"This is my home, can't I stay?" Ye Rufeng originally wanted to be polite to his future daughter-in-law, but considering that they hadn't noticed his presence all night, he couldn't be friendly.
Cui Hua was a little embarrassed. She chuckled and said, "No, what I mean is, when did you get back? We didn't even notice."
Ye Rufeng said in a light tone, "Can you even notice? With your carelessness, you wouldn't even realize you've been kidnapped."
