Chapter 165: They Don't Look Like Siblings
Bai Zhi didn't continue the topic with Lu Ye, after all, there were too many people talking in the restaurant.
It concerns her uncle's reputation and face.

"Niece?" The man in the floral shirt's gaze lightly fell on Bai Zhi's face. "Why have I never heard you mention having a niece before?"
Lu Ye was very unhappy with the way the man looked at his girlfriend, so he moved to stand in front of Bai Zhi and blocked the uncomfortable gaze.
Ye Tiandong explained, "I just reunited with my niece."

Ye Tiandong didn't introduce the man's identity to Bai Zhi and the others at all; he simply gestured for Lu Yeye to drive.
The man didn't rush into the restaurant. He smoked a cigarette and looked at the woman standing next to Ye Tiandong, trying her best to make her presence known. He said sarcastically, "Lili, why didn't you greet your brother? You've become so cold-hearted since you married the boss. You don't even want to talk to your own brother anymore."
When Li Li was called upon, she could only lower her eyes and give a perfunctory "Brother."
"Let's go inside and eat."
After the man finished speaking, he led the three men behind him into the restaurant.
After taking two steps, he turned back, his gaze seemingly falling on Li Li's stomach.
Then he asked Li Li, "Lili, aren't you going to come and greet us?"
Upon hearing his words, Li Li's pupils contracted slightly, and she instinctively shrank closer to Ye Tiandong.

"So that means he's not your brother?" Bai Zhi's eyes flickered slightly as she smiled and said, "He can't really be considered your brother, since the two of you aren't related by blood."
After she finished speaking, she muttered to herself, "My aunt seems quite afraid of him."
Ye Tiandong glanced at the direction of the gate they entered through, frowned, and said, "Li Bin has been involved in the underworld for years. Your aunt is timid and has been avoiding him, of course, because she doesn't want to offend him."
Upon hearing this, Bai Zhi nodded thoughtfully, "Oh, I see. My aunt seems to have something on her that someone can use against her."
