Gu Chengyu arrived home earlier than her and was sitting to the side looking at reports on his tablet.
Hearing the noise, he looked up and saw his usually charming and lively little girl, who now looked like a wilted cabbage, but her eyes were still full of excitement.
Of course he knew that today was her wrap-up day.
Gu Chengyu put down his tablet, went over to her, led her to sit on the sofa, and then squatted down in front of her.
He naturally reached out and touched her forehead; her temperature was normal.
Gu Chengyu brushed the stray hairs from her cheek and looked at her.
"Are you exhausted?" His voice was low and filled with obvious concern.
Su Qianqian tilted her head slightly.
She felt physically tired and weak, but mentally she was happy and excited.
In a soft, clear voice, she roused herself and said, "I've finished filming 'The Chaos of War,' and I'm very happy."
"But Ah Yu, I'm so sleepy too..."
Gu Chengyu felt sorry for her, but also relieved. He decided to let her take on some lighter roles in the future.
Once you get into a character like Lin Wan, it's hard to break free from the role, and it takes a lot of mental effort.
She is so delicate and frail, so naturally she can't handle such hard work.
He stood up, sat down next to her, and let her lean comfortably against him.
Su Qianqian nestled against him obediently, nuzzling her nose against him, and let out a satisfied hum.
"Go to sleep," he coaxed softly, patting her back gently with his large hand.
Su Qianqian found a more comfortable position in his arms, closed her eyes to rest, and mumbled, "I haven't taken a nice bath yet, I'll sleep later."
Gu Chengyu smiled, nuzzled the top of her head with his chin, and said, "By the way, the Nanwan Resort in Chenque is officially opening this weekend."
"Hmm..." Su Qianqian responded vaguely, not taking it to heart at all.
Gu Chengyu continued, "I had my assistant arrange a sea-view room and a private hot spring."
"I'll take you out for a couple of days this weekend to relax and unwind."
Su Qianqian, nestled in his arms, seemed to have processed the news for a moment.
A few seconds later, she lifted her head from his embrace, her almond-shaped eyes brightening slightly: "Want to go out and play? Just the two of us?"
"Otherwise what?"
Gu Chengyu raised an eyebrow, looking at her brightened eyes, his mood improved as well, and he flicked her nose with his finger, "Who else do you want to bring?"
"I don't want to bring anyone." Su Qianqian immediately shook her head.
She stretched out her slender, white arms and wrapped them around his neck, her voice regaining its usual clear and melodious quality, "Ah Yu, you're the most considerate of all."
"I'm exhausted, this is a good opportunity to relax."
Nanwan Resort is an ultra-high-end project that Shen's Group has been developing in the past few months. It has been heavily promoted and is said to have stunning scenery, top-notch facilities, and excellent privacy.
Seeing her lively and cheerful appearance again, Gu Chengyu's eyes were full of smiles.
He lowered his head and kissed her forehead: "Then it's settled."
"Today is Wednesday, you can rest for two days, and we'll leave on Saturday morning."
"Yes!" Su Qianqian nodded vigorously.
She was exhausted after filming one movie and didn't really want to join another project for the time being.
I'm planning to pick out a few pretty dresses for a nice vacation.
