As night deepened, in a stylish bar in S City called "Misty," the lighting was hazy, and the music was languid with a slightly alluring rhythm. Several opened bottles of whiskey and an ice bucket sat on the table. When Gu Chengyu arrived, Shen Que, Qin Yu, and Zhou Yu'an had already finished their drinks. "Oh, it's rare to see Chengyu like this, we actually managed to get you out here." Shen Que spoke first, wearing a silk shirt with the collar loosened a couple of times, his peach blossom eyes filled with amusement, "I thought you were a stay-at-home husband now, no longer out in the world." Gu Chengyu ignored him, took off his suit jacket and casually draped it aside, sat down in an empty seat, and loosened his collar: "Qianqian has class tonight, otherwise I wouldn't have come out either." Qin Yu poured him a drink with a grin: "I understand, I understand, Chengyu has to report to us now." Zhou Yu'an smiled gently and pushed a glass of whiskey on the rocks in front of Gu Chengyu: "It's good to relax once in a while and have a drink." The group clinked glasses and chatted about their recent situations and business matters. The resident band on stage changed to a more ambiguous jazz song, and a dancer in a sequined halter dress came on stage, sexy and hot. The lights were deliberately dimmed, and a few spotlights swayed with the rhythm of the music, sweeping across the booths, casting light and shadow on people's faces. During a break in their conversation, Gu Chengyu's gaze inadvertently swept towards the stage. A young woman was swaying her hips slightly to the music, her movements not intense, yet brimming with the allure of a mature woman. The spotlight shone smoothly over her shoulders, neck, and graceful curves. Chen Que followed his gaze, a meaningful smile playing on his lips: "What, you're interested? This dance is quite good, very tasteful." Gu Chengyu looked away, chuckled, and took a sip of his drink, the cold liquid sliding down his throat: "Not really interested, but the choreography is quite good." His mind, however, was uncontrollably racing with thoughts of Su Qianqian standing under the lights, making those seductive moves. Wearing a small halter top and super-short shorts… dancing just for him. He wouldn't need the woman on stage's skillful flirting techniques; just her naturally charming and alluring appearance, a single glance at him, a slight sway of her slender waist, would be enough to make his body tense. Qin Yu, oblivious to the situation, chimed in, "Who else could Cheng Yu possibly have eyes for but his little fairy?" "But seriously, Cheng Yu, why don't you have Qianqian come over and learn, maybe she could dance for you in front of everyone? That would be so exciting! Let us enjoy it too." Zhou Yu'an coughed lightly, reminding her, "Qin Yu." Gu Cheng Yu's eyes suddenly turned cold as he swept his gaze over Qin Yu, a clear warning in his voice: "If you can't speak properly, shut up. She's not for your amusement." Qin Yu, startled by his gaze, quickly raised her hands in surrender: "I was wrong, I was wrong, I'll punish myself with a drink!" She then quickly downed a mouthful of wine. Shen Que smoothed things over, smiling as he changed the subject: "Alright, alright, let's drink." The topic was diverted, but the lingering, romantic thoughts that had been stirred within Gu Cheng Yu didn't immediately dissipate. Qianqian was certainly not the plaything they were talking about, but he could still coax her and play a little game of romance. He leaned back on the sofa, downing the rest of his drink in one gulp. The spiciness shot through his throat, and he let the burning sensation overwhelm him. "That's about enough." Gu Chengyu put down his glass and stood up. "I'm leaving now." "What time is it?" Chen Que raised an eyebrow. "Going back to pick up Qianqian from class." He said succinctly, grabbing his coat. His face was expressionless, but his eyes betrayed his absent-mindedness. The three people in the booth were left looking at each other blankly.
