"You learn first."
He said, his eyes gleaming with excitement, "I'll make it happen when I get back."
The car drove smoothly into the night.
Su Qianqian looked at a video file sent by Gu Chengyu, with the accompanying sentence: "I want to see you dance."
She was a little curious, so she took out her earphones, put them on, and started watching the video.
Under the hazy lights and with the ambiguous music, a woman in a sequined halter dress on stage swayed her hips to the rhythm, her movements bold and provocative, every action filled with seduction.
Su Qianqian's smile slowly froze.
As she watched the strange woman's sexy dance on the screen, and recalled Gu Chengyu's words of reward, she felt a sudden tightness in her chest, a bittersweet feeling.
She couldn't help but wonder if he had also looked at the dancers on stage with that meaningful gaze.
Gu Chengyu was focused on driving, filled with anticipation, and didn't notice her unusual behavior.
Although Su Qianqian was watching the dance intently, a little bit of grievance and jealousy was bubbling up inside her like bubbles.
snort!
If he dares to go to a bar to watch other women dance, she dares to cry in front of him.
She began to build up her emotions.
The car drove into the underground parking garage of the Genting Apartments and came to a smooth stop.
The engine was turned off, and the car fell into complete silence.
Gu Chengyu unbuckled his seatbelt, turned his head, and only then did he realize that Su Qianqian had been unusually quiet.
"Qianqian?" He reached out, his fingertips just touching her chin when he felt a wet patch.
His heart tightened suddenly, and he gently lifted her face.
Sure enough, her little face was covered in tears, her eyes and the tip of her nose were red from crying, and she looked extremely pitiful.
She bit her lower lip, trying hard not to make a sound, but she couldn't control her soft sobs.
Gu Chengyu panicked completely.
When had he ever seen her cry silently, so pitiful? He was always the one who made her cry, but the nature of those times was completely different.
"What's wrong? Who bullied you?" His voice was tense and aggressive.
"Were you wronged at school? Or are you feeling unwell?" (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
