He picked her up from the swing, sat down, and let her sit sideways on his lap, holding her tightly in his arms.
"Okay, it's my fault." He readily admitted his mistake, lowering his head to gently rub his nose against her slightly cool cheek.
"I shouldn't have scared Qianqian."
"Then what will it take for you to forgive me? Hmm?"
Su Qianqian nestled into his arms, her face pressed against his neck, her cool little hands slipping inside to absorb his warmth, her voice muffled and sweet:
You need to coax her.
Gu Chengyu chuckled softly, patting her back gently with his large hand, like soothing a cat with its fur standing on end. "So, Qianqian, how do you plan to coax her?"
Should I buy you the latest blue diamond? Or should I give you a luxury yacht?
"Don't want all that nonsense." Su Qianqian shook her head in his arms, her hair tickling his chin.
"You need to coax them now."
Gu Chengyu raised an eyebrow, understanding.
He lowered his head and gently kissed the top of her head with his thin lips, then moved down to kiss her forehead and the tip of her nose. Finally, he lingered on her slightly pouting, delicate red lips for a while until he felt the person in his arms soften. Only then did he pull away slightly and ask in a low, husky voice, "Is this how you coax me?"
Su Qianqian felt a little better when she smelled his scent. Actually, both Shen Que and that foreigner had made her unhappy tonight, but she was just good at comforting herself.

He picked her up and stood up. "Let's go home."

After saying that, he picked her up and strode outside.
Su Qianqian obediently hugged his neck, rested her face on his shoulder, and secretly smiled.
Those worries about Shen Que were temporarily forgotten.
