"She's different!"
With that low growl, Gu Chengyu rushed forward and punched Shen Que hard in the face.
Caught off guard, Shen Que was knocked back by the punch and stumbled into the wine cabinet behind him, shattering the expensive bottles on the floor.
Blood instantly seeped from the corner of his mouth.
But he seemed oblivious to the pain, instead chuckling softly, the laughter growing louder and louder, filled with long-suppressed resentment.
Shen Que wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, raised his head, and his eyes, sharp and obsessive, met Gu Chengyu's almost murderous gaze:
"Different? How are they different? Gu Chengyu, tell me, how is she different?!"
He suddenly stood up straight, took a step closer without fear, his voice hoarse with excitement:
"Why? Why can you touch it, but I can't even think about it?"
"Why should all the good things be yours, Gu Chengyu?"
"Family background, status, rightful heir... even women, they all have to be yours alone?!"
The pent-up jealousy finally erupted at this moment.
Shen Que's eyes were bloodshot as he pointed at the short skirt in Gu Chengyu's hand: "My feelings for her were genuine too!"
"I even thought about marrying her!"
"But what can you offer her? A mistress who can never be seen in the light of day?"
"Sincerely?" Gu Chengyu laughed coldly, as if he had heard the biggest joke in the world.
"Is your true intention to secretly keep her personal belongings? To fantasize in such a despicable way?"
"Chen Que, you fucking disgust me!"
Before he could finish speaking, Gu Chengyu struck again, delivering another heavy punch to Shen Que's abdomen.
Shen Que groaned, doubled over in pain, but still gritted his teeth and roared, "Yes! I feel disgusted! And what about you?"
"So you, Young Master Gu, are aboveboard? Don't you have enough women around you? What gives you the right to monopolize her?"
Gu Chengyu was completely enraged. He threw the clothes he was holding onto the sofa.
Two men in high positions began to fight, their blows landing squarely on each other.
Furniture was knocked over, and artwork was smashed to pieces.
This is venting anger, a struggle, and also a declaration of sovereignty.
Gu Chengyu grabbed Chen Que by the collar, slammed him against the wall, pressed his arm tightly against his throat, and approached him with bloodshot eyes, his voice squeezed out from between his teeth:
"On what grounds?"
"Because I am Gu Chengyu."
"Just because of her, from head to toe, her first time, her first kiss, even the strands of her hair belong to me."
"If you dare touch her things again, or look at her even once more, Chen Que, I guarantee you, everything you've worked so hard for will be gone." (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
