Gu Chengyu emerged from the shadows, his face so dark it seemed to drip water. He walked to the bench, bent down, and with far from gentle movements, scooped up the little drunkard who was still mumbling, "I don't like dirty A-Yu," in his arms. Su Qianqian was startled by the sudden suspension, wrapped her arms around his neck, and nuzzled her face against his neck, whimpering unconsciously, "A-Yu, where did you go just now..." She was completely unaware of how ironic her affectionate actions were to Gu Chengyu at that moment. The muscles in Gu Chengyu's arms holding her were tense, his knuckles still bleeding, yet he seemed oblivious to the pain. The more he had previously been swayed by her clingy dependence, the more his heart ached now. All that intimacy he had once thought was unique, all that attachment for which he had willingly given everything, was, in fact, built on such a ridiculous and cruel foundation. It was all a lie. He carried her, striding across the garden, ignoring Zhou Yu'an's complicated gaze behind him, and headed straight for the car parked outside. ... Cloud Top Apartments. Gu Chengyu kicked open the bedroom door and threw the person in his arms onto the soft bed without any pity. Su Qianqian was a little dizzy from the fall, frowning in dissatisfaction, and whimpered as she tried to get up. Gu Chengyu, however, had already come over with a glass of the most bitter hangover medicine he had just ordered. His eyes were cold, devoid of his usual warmth, and his large hand directly grabbed Su Qianqian's chin, forcing her to raise her head. "Drink it." He commanded her, his voice cold and arrogant. Su Qianqian frowned at the unpleasant smell and subconsciously turned her head away: "No...it tastes awful..." "You have no choice!" Gu Chengyu roared at her, forcefully pressing the rim of the glass to her lips, almost violently pouring the bitter liquid down her throat. "Cough cough... Ugh..." Su Qianqian coughed, tears welling up instantly. She struggled to push him away, but he held her tightly in his arms until she had drunk most of the medicine. The medicine needed time to take effect. Gu Chengyu released her, casually tossing the cup to the ground, where it shattered with a crisp sound. He stood by the bed, looking down at Su Qianqian, who was curled up on the bed, coughing and with tears in her eyes. His eyes were filled with surging anger and pain. Su Qianqian was still a little drunk, but she had become slightly more sober. She looked up at the familiar yet unfamiliar man in front of her with a blank and frightened gaze. His eyes were terrifying, as if he wanted to devour her alive. He was nothing like the Ayu who usually doted on her. "Ayu..." she called out timidly. "What's wrong? You hurt me just now..." "What's wrong with me?" Gu Chengyu replied as if he had heard a joke. He leaned down, his hands bracing on either side of her, completely enveloping her in his shadow. His sharp, phoenix-shaped eyes were fixed on her: "Su Qianqian, tell me, what exactly do you mean by 'Su Su power bank'?" Su Qianqian was terrified by the madness and pain in his eyes, stammering, "It...it just makes me feel energized..." "Lying!" Gu Chengyu abruptly interrupted her, making her tremble slightly. "You come close to me, depend on me, let me touch you, just because I can make your body better. 'Energized'? That's just a misunderstanding, a disguised excuse!" "Su Qianqian, in your heart, lying beneath me, receiving my pampering, is it no different from taking a tonic?" "Say something!"
