Chapter 2: The Chaotic Night (1/2)

Su Qianqian's consciousness floated in a pure white, boundless void.

There is no sound, no smell, no touch here.

She instinctively clutched her chest, where she could still feel the excruciating, agonizing pain that accompanied the onset of the illness.

For eighteen years, a full eighteen years, she spent her life in a hospital ward filled with the smell of disinfectant.

The sunlight and breeze outside the window are a luxury for her.

She was beautiful and delicate, charming and untouched by the world, but she never truly lived.

Death came on the third day after his eighteenth birthday.

She stopped breathing in her sleep; there was no pain, only darkness and relief.

The bet has just finished airing on the virtual screen.

At this moment, the scene following the bet continues to unfold.

Vibrant and fragrant.

Inside the enormous sofa, several imposing, well-dressed men sat casually like kings.

The air was thick with the scent of lust, power, and money.

Gu Chengyu.

He then put his arm around the girl's slender back and began to kiss her.

Shen Que, who was standing next to him, couldn't wait any longer and pulled the beauty over to sit on his lap.

He couldn't wait to unbuckle his belt... The image on the screen disappeared.

The system did not want the ensuing chaos to taint the eyes of the host it had finally found.

"How are you feeling, host?"

Su Qianqian's eyebrows furrowed slightly, still feeling uncomfortable with the noise and turbidity of the other world.

"It's so noisy and chaotic there, all those people..."

She remembered the man sitting in the middle; the way he looked at women, as if appraising exquisite objects, carried a cold, playful air that instinctively instilled fear in her.

"That is the small world you are about to enter, host."

The system tried its best to suppress its soft, childlike voice, as it wasn't bound to Qianqian yet and couldn't let her think it was unreliable.
