Chapter 31 Scorching

The cool moonlight streamed through the huge French windows, spilling into the luxurious yet ambiguous and chaotic living room. On the expensive wool carpet, a pale yellow, soft, form-fitting slip dress lay carelessly discarded, like a delicate flower battered by a sudden rainstorm. It was now weighed down by a rough, heavy metal belt. The belt's cold metal buckle reflected a chilling light in the moonlight, creating a stark contrast with the nightgown's fragility. Beside the wide armrest of the sofa, men's clothing was piled: a crisp black suit, a dark gray silk shirt. On top, a pair of boxer shorts lay casually tossed about. Beside the pile of clothes, a slender, pale ankle hung limply, toes slightly curled. The moonlight shifted, illuminating a figure deep within the sofa. A girl's long, seaweed-like hair was disheveled, flowing down her back, a few strands clinging to her sweaty neck and smooth shoulders. Her eyes were closed, her long eyelashes trembling violently like startled butterfly wings. Her delicate eyebrows furrowed deeply, her expression exceptionally endearing. Her pink lips parted slightly, escaping in broken, suppressed sobs, like the whimper of a kitten. She arched her swan-like neck, her fragile shoulders fully exposed to the air, the moonlight clearly illuminating the fresh, bright red hickeys on her skin, a testament to the man's recent tender caresses. Her back formed an exquisitely beautiful yet fragile arc, both innocent and alluring. Her smooth skin glowed in the moonlight, her shoulder blades resembling butterfly wings poised for flight. The only thing breaking this delicate, snow-white back was a man's large hand. That hand was broad and powerful, with long, slender fingers, firmly resting on her slender lower back. At this moment, the large hand seemed dissatisfied with her retreat, tightening its grip, its thumb sinking into the soft hollow of her waist, the girl's waist completely under his grasp. "Mmm..." The girl's neck arched even higher, her brows furrowed even more, and the whimper she had been holding in suddenly burst forth, a broken sob in her voice. Her small hands, which had been limply resting on the man's chest, jerked up and frantically climbed onto his taut, powerful shoulders and back. Then, her slender, pale fingers dug deep into his thick, black hair. Even his hair was extremely stiff, the stubble pricking her soft palms, sending a slight stinging sensation through her. She tried to push away his scorching, soft lips and tongue, but her resistance was like an ant trying to shake a tree in the face of absolute power. In her futile efforts, the girl's rounded nails could only helplessly leave a few shallow pink marks on the man's taut back muscles. The girl felt as if her last bit of strength had been drained away. Her legs went completely limp, unable to support her weight any longer. She collapsed limply into the man's hot, hard embrace, like a fallen leaf sinking into a muddy swamp. "Waaah..." A weak, aggrieved sob finally broke free. The sob was mixed with frustration at her own uselessness, and an even deeper sense of helplessness, like a lamb entering a tiger's den. She had only wanted to reward him a little, how had it... turned into this? The burning kiss finally left her face briefly. The man's deep, husky voice, magnetic, whispered against her ear: "Baby, don't cry..." His large hand still firmly held her slender waist, his other hand soothingly stroking her smooth back. "You're the one who ran out of strength." "You started this fire yourself." His voice rose slightly at the end, carrying a lazy, teasing tone of triumph, "Don't blame me..."
