Chapter 50 Morning Rising (2/2)

"Miss, here are your things." Xiao Chen said respectfully, his eyes lowered.

"Okay, thank you." Su Qianqian slowly lifted her face from the pillow.

In that instant, even though Xiao Chen tried his best to restrain himself, his peripheral vision was still captivated, and his heart skipped a beat uncontrollably.

The young lady sat up, wrapped in a silk quilt, her long hair disheveled and draped over her shoulders, making her small face appear only the size of a palm.

Her skin was incredibly delicate and fair, like the finest mutton fat jade, with its own soft glow.

She wasn't wearing makeup, yet her eyes and brows naturally possessed a captivating charm; her nose was delicate and straight, and her lips were naturally rosy.

Xiao Chen's heart skipped a beat at the innate allure in her eyes. She looked like a delicate flower, pampered by men, radiating a moist and charming beauty from her very core.

Those almond-shaped eyes were watery, with a faint red tinge at the corners, giving them a languid, dreamy look that was captivating without the person even realizing it.

No wonder it was such a mess... The master of this house is the famous heir of the Gu family. Rich people really eat well.

Even as a woman, she wanted to touch that little face to see how smooth and tender it was.

Xiao Chen held his breath, quickly lowered his head, and dared not look any further.

After the young lady finished rinsing her mouth, she quickly removed the water glass and went down to the next level.

Place the second plate of crystal shrimp dumplings and bird's nest stewed milk on the top layer and gently place it in front of Su Qianqian for easy access.

"Miss, here are the snacks, please enjoy."

"Okay." Su Qianqian responded softly, picked up a small spoon, scooped up a spoonful of the crystal-clear stewed bird's nest, and ate it in small bites.

Xiao Chen stood by with his hands at his sides, seemingly oblivious to his own thoughts, but his heart was pounding like a rabbit's.

She finally understood why her aunt had always emphasized that this young lady was like a porcelain doll and needed to be served with the utmost care.

She added that the master of the house, Mr. Gu, was already extremely picky, and he would dote on the little porcelain doll in every way, let alone the servants like them.

But in Xiao Chen's eyes, this was no porcelain doll at all. It was more like a little flower fairy who had absorbed the essence of the sun and moon. The delicateness that emanated from its very bones was so exquisite that she almost dared not look directly at it.

She glanced furtively at the pink mark on her mistress's neck again, then quickly looked away, silently repeating to herself: "Don't look at what you shouldn't see, don't look at what you shouldn't see, don't look at what you shouldn't see."
