Chapter 291 Everyone is unhappy
"What's wrong now?"
Qin Ce said, "Tell Shi Yi that Yang Xu is the lawyer I hired."
Qin Yi frowned. He didn't know what was going on with these nonsensical words, but since it was a message, he would deliver it.
After agreeing, Qin Yi went out, drove to the parking lot, and went to the old man's house.
The old man was taking a walk downstairs when Qin Yi drove in and saw him and Shi Yi.
He looked at the old man's aged appearance from inside the car, his expression momentarily dazed, even though he had been there for quite some time and spent with the old man.
But Qin Yi still couldn't connect the frail old man in front of him with the grandfather in his memory.
He sat in the car for a while before getting out and walking towards the old man.

The old man was talking to Shi Yi when he heard Qin Yi's voice. He turned around and glanced at him, "You brat, where have you been these past few days?"
Qin Yi looked guilty and said apologetically, "I'm at a friend's place. Oh, by the way, my brother asked me to pick you up so we can have dinner there."
The old man was a little unhappy. "Why doesn't he come over? Why do I have to go to him?"
Qin Yi hesitated and glanced at Shi Yi beside him.

The old man waved him away, saying, "You're annoying, get out of here!"
Qin Yi dared not leave. He supported the old man's arm until they reached the top of the stairs before letting go.
Seeing the old man storm into the house, Qin Yi had no choice but to take out his phone and call Qin Ce to tell him about it.
"He's not coming?"
Qin Yi said, "Does he look like he's coming?"

Finally he said, "Then you shouldn't go."

"You and your wife are happy to go on vacation, so why can't I go? I'll just leave on my own!"

"What's the meaning?"
Qin Yi said, "How would I know? He just asked me to deliver this message. I'd like to ask you two what's going on."
Something flashed in Shi Yi's eyes, and she patted her forehead, both amused and exasperated. "Looks like I meant well but messed things up."
