Chapter 494 On the Right Track
Gao Jin nodded and pulled Chenchen away from the crowd. Qiao Xing still had to wait for Linlin. She glanced at the time; there were still ten minutes left.
The older children finish school half an hour later than the younger children, but she still arrived early, and her legs were a little numb from standing.
Ten minutes later, the school bell rang, and the surrounding parents rushed in like a swarm of soldiers. Qiao Xing didn't even have to walk; he was pushed around by them and somehow ended up inside the school.
Qiao Xing took out her phone to read the message Wang Ye had sent and found Linlin's class.
She saw a female teacher leading students out, but looking left and right, there were too many children, and she couldn't find Linlin.

Qiao Xing couldn't help but smile and pinch his cheek. "Good boy, Auntie will take you to eat something delicious. What do you want to eat?"
"Let's eat KFC."

Linlin blinked her big eyes and looked at her pitifully, "Is it okay?"
Qiao Xing felt quite embarrassed. Would Bai Yi scold him for taking him to KFC?
She thought for a moment and said, "Okay, but let's do it secretly, okay? Don't tell your mom, alright?"
Linlin nodded like a chick pecking at rice, "Okay, okay!"
After learning that she could eat KFC, Linlin immediately became lively and energetic, even skipping and jumping when she walked.

She took Linlin to the car and went to the nearest KFC.

Linlin seems much more cheerful than before, which should be thanks to Wang Ye.
She rested her chin on her hand and asked him with a smile, "Linlin, how are you doing at school?"
Linlin flipped through the comic book without looking up and said, "Okay."
"Do you get along well with your classmates?"
He nodded, focused on the comic book, and probably didn't hear what Qiao Xing was saying, so Qiao Xing didn't bother him.
Before long, their meal was ready. Qiao Xing went to bring the food over, and Lin Lin ate ice cream while reading comics.
He didn't order much, but he was basically full after eating two ice creams, and then he forced himself to eat the chicken wings.
Seeing that he really couldn't finish the last hamburger, Qiao Xing said, "If you can't eat it, then don't. Take this to your Uncle Wang Ye."
Linlin seemed to have the opposite idea. "Oh right, I can give it to him to eat," the little guy patted his belly and grinned at Qiao Xing.
Qiao Xing packed up the hamburger and took Linlin to Wang Ye's place.
There was a traffic jam at this time, and it took two hours to get to Wang Ye's barbecue stall. When Qiao Xing got out of the car, she felt terrible and her stomach was churning violently.
"Cousin, you're here! Thank you! I'll treat you to barbecue." Wang Ye greeted her with a smile. "You can choose whatever you like."

Qiao Xing also remembered that Bai Yi was now working for Xiao Lin and was working as a store manager at a branch store.

Linlin was raised by many people. In the past, when Bai Yi didn't have time, she would randomly select a lucky friend to help her pick up and take care of the child. Now that she's married to Wang Ye, she openly leaves the child with Wang Ye and runs around outside.
Qiao Xing smiled and glanced at Linlin. Linlin was already quite skilled at the series of operations. He picked up a small apron and tied it on himself, then moved between the tables.

She then asked, "How often does Bai Yi usually come back?"

When Wang Ye mentioned Bai Yi, his expression didn't show much reaction. There was no love or longing in his eyes, but rather the feeling of an old married couple who had been together for a long time.
