Chapter 529 Underworld Routine
After saying that, Qiao Xing went back to sleep because she was too tired.
Qiao Xing twitched his lips speechlessly. He should have known better than to come so early. It had been so long since he'd been here that he'd almost forgotten their underworld routine.
She sat there listlessly for a while, feeling that they wouldn't wake up anytime soon, so she simply went downstairs to wander around by herself.
There was a flower bed outside the small supermarket downstairs. She sat on the flower bed, idly scrolling through her phone, when she suddenly wanted to ask Wang Ye how the preparations for opening the store were going.
She was just about to call Wang Ye when He Yu suddenly sent her a message.
He Yu: I received it and am replying.
Qiao Xing was stunned, thinking she had missed some news. She scrolled up and found that He Yu hadn't sent her any messages for a long time; the last message was more than two months ago.
I thought her internet connection was slow, but after waiting a while, no message popped up.
So she typed: What did you receive?
He Yu: The final payment. I just sent a message to Shen Boyan, but he didn't reply.
Qiao Xing looked at the words in surprise, then suddenly remembered that she had contacted Xiao Lin yesterday, and her answer was ambiguous. She didn't expect that the final payment would be transferred today.
She ran back upstairs and pulled Tao Yang up from the sofa.
"Get up, don't sleep anymore."
Tao Yang rubbed his eyes, still half asleep, and mumbled, "What?"
"Get up quickly and check the company account."
Qiao Xing's computer wasn't here; all their computers were locked, so they had to get Tao Yang's computer working.

Tao Yang was wide awake. He immediately got up, ran to the computer, turned it on, logged into the company account, and sure enough, there was 540,000 yuan in there.
Tao Yang thought he was still half asleep, so he rubbed his eyes hard. When he looked again, there were still so many eyes.
"Holy crap." Tao Yang was so excited he could barely speak. He patted his cheeks, then turned to Qiao Xing, "Try hitting me!"
Qiao Xing twitched the corner of his mouth. "You're not dreaming. Li Ya really made the payment. He Yu just sent me a message about it."
Tao Yang's expression changed little by little, and the corners of his mouth slowly widened. Finally, he exclaimed and turned around to rush into the conference room.
Qiao Xing could hear his roar even from outside.
"Shen Boyan, Shen Boyan, get up quickly!"
"Li Ya has made the payment, wake up!"
Shen Boyan didn't even lift his eyelids for the first sentence, but he suddenly opened his eyes and stared straight at Tao Yang for the last sentence.

Shen Boyan got up from the sofa, walked out quickly, and went to Tao Yang's computer to take a look. To make sure that Tao Yang wasn't photoshopping a picture to fool him, he even manipulated the mouse to click on the amount information.
He didn't seem as excited as Tao Yang; instead, he frowned and asked, "Why the sudden payment?"
Tao Yang grabbed his arm and said, "You should ask me that. I told you that the charm of a man still works. I thought you had really given up. I didn't expect you to be working hard behind the scenes."
Shen Boyan frowned, took out his phone and glanced at it; He Yu had sent him a lot of messages.
In addition to making the payment, she also asked them if they had gone to see Boss Xiao.
They naturally didn't go to see President Xiao; he wasn't someone they could just see whenever they wanted.
Shen Boyan looked up at Qiao Xing, because Qiao Xing was the one who started this project in the first place.
Why did Li Ya suddenly make the payment?
Qiao Xing was taken aback by his question. She thought he would be as excited as Tao Yang and ignore the question, but she didn't expect that his first question would be about her.

Tao Yang slumped into his chair and said with a smile, "That's good. We don't need to take on Tianyue's project anymore. The more I think about it, the less reliable it seems."
He glanced at Qiao Xing again and said, "Luckily, Li Ya made the payment, otherwise Boyan would have dissolved the company."
"Huh?" Qiao Xing looked at Shen Boyan in shock. "Why?"
"Who knows what's wrong with him? He came back last night saying we've suffered because of him and stuff..."
Before Tao Yang could finish speaking, Shen Boyan glared at him, causing him to shut his mouth sheepishly and not continue.
Last night, Shen Boyan scared them. He suddenly called them to the conference room, gave each of them 50,000 yuan, and told them to find a more suitable job.
Then he decided to deregister the company.
Tao Yang didn't understand his behavior at all. When asked why, he wouldn't say, only that he didn't want to waste any more time and keep them in their place.
Tao Yang was also angry last night and they had a small argument. Then, before Qiao Xing arrived, the two of them hadn't spoken to each other.

Qiao Xing glanced in the direction of the conference room, then whispered to Tao Yang what happened last night. She felt that all the encouraging words she had said should have inspired him, right?
Tao Yang pulled a chair over to Qiao Xing and whispered to her what happened last night.
Qiao Xing was also surprised and couldn't help but wonder if Shen Boyan had suffered some kind of blow, otherwise why would he dissolve the company for no reason?
Tao Yang was still a little angry when he mentioned what happened last night.
"If I really wanted to make money and find a decent job, I would have left with them back then. Would I still be here now? It's infuriating."
