Chapter 650 My Wife is So Good

Chapter 650 My Wife is So Good

Yang Han remained silent, continuing to pour himself more alcohol.

Qin Ce knew that he had taken his words to heart.

He didn't say anything more, but waited for Yang Han to figure it out herself.

After a while, Yang Han said in a muffled voice, "But even if I don't want her to devote all her attention to the child in the future, the child is already there. No matter what, she will give birth to it. So, won't the final result be the same?"

Qin Ce said, "Since you know the outcome will be the same, why are you stopping her from doing what she wants to do?"

His words seemed to awaken Yang Han.

He knew perfectly well how difficult childbirth was for a woman, and how much pressure a mother had to bear.

What right or qualification does he have to stop Xiao Lin from doing what she likes while she is still able to do it?

If her child becomes her focus in the future, when she looks back on the present, will she regret many things because of his interference? Will she even blame everything on him?

Yang Han seemed to understand Xiao Lin's insistence. In fact, Xiao Lin was more worried than him. She was afraid that after having children, she would not be able to take care of her work, and she was also afraid that she would neglect her children because of her work.

As a woman, especially a woman about to become a mother, she has to bear much more pressure than he does.

As Yang Han thought about it, she suddenly began to regret it.

He even wanted to slap himself. Why did he have to argue with Xiao Lin? Why couldn't he be more tolerant of her?

Perhaps because of the alcohol, Yang Han put down his glass, picked up his phone from the sofa, squinted, found Xiao Lin's number, and dialed it without hesitation.

Xiao Lin was still awake. Because of her argument with Yang Han at the hospital, she didn't really want to answer Yang Han's call.

But I accepted it in the end.

When the call connected, Xiao Lin didn't say anything, but waited for Yang Han to speak.

Yang Han didn't know why he made the call. Before making the call, he had a lot to say to Xiao Lin, but once the call connected, he didn't know what to say.

Xiao Lin was patient and waited quietly for him to speak.

After hesitating for a long time, Yang Han finally spoke, his voice slightly uneasy, "Wife, I was wrong..."

The apology came so unexpectedly that Xiao Lin was momentarily stunned. "What?"

The old man is right. A true man can bend and stretch; there's nothing he can't say to his wife.

Yang Han thought to himself, secretly encouraging himself, "Wife, I was wrong. I haven't been considerate of you before. I know you're about to become a mother and the pressure must be immense. I neglected your feelings. I'm sorry, wife, please forgive me..."

As he spoke, he started crying again. This time, it was hard to tell whether he was really crying or faking it, but from Qin Ce's perspective, you could see tears streaming down his face.

"I always thought I cared about you and cherished you, but you never appreciated my efforts. Now I realize I was wrong, terribly wrong. Giving birth was like walking through the gates of hell for you. You had to endure so much pain because of me, and instead of understanding you, I was preoccupied with things I shouldn't have been preoccupied with. Honey, I was so wrong... Please forgive me..."

Hearing his groggy voice, Xiao Lin asked, "Have you been drinking?"

"No." Yang Han initially denied it, but then felt she couldn't lie to Xiao Lin, so she changed her story to, "I drank, but I wasn't drunk."

Xiao Lin shook her head helplessly. He was already talking nonsense and still said he wasn't drunk.

Yang Han was afraid he wasn't sincere enough. "Honey, I was really wrong. I shouldn't have argued with you. You can do whatever you want from now on. I'll support you if you want to go to work, as long as you can take care of yourself. Let's not argue about this anymore, okay? I really want to go home..."

Xiao Lin couldn't help but laugh out loud, "How come you've suddenly become so sensible?"

Yang Han whispered, "If you're still so immature, you'll just leave me..."

Yang Han had been too embarrassed to say it before, but ever since the child was involved, he and Xiao Lin had been arguing every few days, especially the time he stayed at Qiao Xing's place, when the argument was the worst.

Although Xiao Lin told him to stay there for two days, she quietly changed the house key without telling anyone.

Yang Han had originally planned to have a good talk with Xiao Lin to ease the tension, but who knew she wouldn't even be able to get into her house.

Although Xiao Lin usually seems gentle, you never know how ruthless she might be in the next second.

This is why Yang Han dared not argue with Xiao Lin anymore.

He was terrified that Xiao Lin might casually tell him "okay, no problem, fine" one second, and then go and sign the divorce papers herself the next.

Although she knew Yang Han might be talking nonsense while drunk, Xiao Lin was still happy to hear him say these things.

At the very least, let her know that Yang Han, like her, cares a lot about this marriage, and he doesn't want this matter to affect their relationship.

"Okay, I'm not blaming you. This is your home too. You should have come back to live here. I'm not abandoning you. Don't overthink it."

Yang Han asked uncertainly, "Really?"

"Really, as long as you remember what you said, there won't be any problems between us."

Yang Han felt relieved and grinned foolishly, "Hehe, my wife is so good."

He had been drinking, and Xiao Lin was a little worried. "Where are you? Do you want me to come pick you up?"

She was pregnant, and Yang Han couldn't bear to let her go through all that trouble, so he quickly said, "No need, no need, I'm with Lao Qin, I'll have him take me home in a bit."

Qin Ce remained silent.

I accompanied him to drink, and now I'm responsible for taking him home.

After hanging up the phone, Yang Han felt incredibly happy.

He glanced at the few remaining bottles of wine on the table, still feeling a bit unsatisfied. Just as he was about to ask the waiter to bring more wine, Qin Ce stood up and pulled him off the sofa.

Yang Han exclaimed, "What's wrong? I haven't finished drinking yet."

Qin Ce said calmly, "If you don't want to spend time with your wife, I will. If you haven't had enough to drink, we can drink again next time. Let's go."

Qin Ce didn't give Yang Han a chance to refute and directly led him out of the private room.

Yang Han wasn't really drunk to begin with, but now she was completely sober.

As the two men left the private room and passed by the adjacent room, a piercing scream suddenly erupted from inside.

Yang Han and Qin Ce exchanged a glance. Such sounds were actually quite normal in a bar. At first, neither of them thought much of it or intended to get involved.

But the next second, they heard someone shouting "Help!"

Qin Ce immediately gave Xing Jiu a look, and without thinking, Xing Jiu took two steps forward and kicked open the door to the private room.
