Chapter 849 Why aren't you afraid I'll worry?
Qin Ce gave her a long, thoughtful look.
"Aren't you afraid I'll worry?"
Qiao Xing choked.
Sure enough, what she saw at the hospital was all an illusion; she knew Qin Ce wouldn't be so easy to talk to.
When they arrived home, Grandpa Qin was still awake. He sat in the living room with the TV on, but his mind was elsewhere, and he looked preoccupied.
He was lost in thought and didn't even notice when Qiao Xing and Qin Ce entered the room.
It was Qiao Xing who spoke up, "Grandpa, we're back."
Grandpa Qin then belatedly turned his head. "Xingxing is back. Why are you so late today?"
Qiao Xing could only lie, "Something came up at the company, so I was delayed."
If Qiao Xing said that normally, Grandpa Qin would definitely give her a few words of advice.

Qiao Xing looked up at Qin Ce, wanting him to say something as well, so that Grandpa Qin wouldn't get too caught up in this matter.

“Grandpa…” Qiao Xing’s nose tingled with emotion. “Please don’t keep saying things like that.”

Qin Ce and Qiao Xing also returned to their bedroom.

Qin Ce asked, "What's wrong?"
Qiao Xing said dejectedly, "I always thought I could do a good job and wouldn't make you worry, but in the end, I didn't do anything well."
That's why Qiao Xing felt ashamed when Grandpa Qin said those things.
"It's not that serious. Just take care of yourself and don't keep making me worry."
Qiao Xing pursed her lips and asked, "Are you angry with me?"

She was afraid Qin Ce would be unhappy, but he really was, and Qiao Xing was caught in a dilemma, unsure whether to listen to him or not.
Because she wanted Qin Ce to trust her, and she also wanted to prove to Qin Ce that she would handle those things well.
But every time it seems to go wrong.
"Alright, stop thinking about it and go to sleep."
Qin Ce lifted the covers and got into bed, reaching out to pull her into his arms.
Qiao Xing listened to his breathing, remained silent for a moment, and then said, "Qin Ce, I want to do something that makes me feel relaxed. I don't want to be stuck in one place forever. Do you understand?"
Qin Ce responded, "I understand."
Qiao Xing opened her mouth, but the words got stuck in her throat, and finally turned into a faint sigh.
She knew that Qin Ce's desire was simple: he just wanted her to be alright.
But life is always full of ups and downs; it's impossible for everything to go smoothly.
Whether she is pregnant or not, or whether she goes to the Big Bad Wolf, she will still face various problems.
What she wants is to move forward, no matter what happens, it's all fate.
Only those experiences could keep her moving forward, teach her about life, and help her gradually grow.
Just like what happened today, she understands Qin Ce's worries, so she feels guilty about it.
But even if she stops going to the Big Bad Wolf starting tomorrow and stays home to rest and prepare for her pregnancy, what's meant to happen will happen.
Who knows if you'll get scalded by boiling water when you pour it, or choke on your food when you eat it.
For Qiao Xing, these things are the same as the problems he encounters at work.

But she couldn't tell Qin Ce these things.
