Chapter 914 Punishing You
Qin Ce remained silent instead of answering.
Seeing this, Qiao Xing was both amused and exasperated. "Then why didn't you tell me?"
If Qin Ce knew this all along, then reflecting on his various attitudes towards Shen Boyan after meeting him would seem to make sense.
Qin Ce said, "What would I tell you? Tell you that Shen Boyan likes you and ask you to leave his company? Do you think you would agree?"
“That’s not what I meant. What I meant was, if you knew about this all along, you should have told me. I always thought you didn’t know, so I didn’t pay attention.”
We're all adults, and we've all been through relationships, how could we not notice anything?
The reason Qiao Xing didn't say anything wasn't because she really didn't know, but because she didn't want this matter to affect her relationship with Shen Boyan.
After all, if some things are said too explicitly, people might not even be able to remain friends in the end. Besides, she was also afraid that she was being too narcissistic and that it was just her own imagination.
Qin Ce scoffed, "His feelings for you are written all over his face. Do you think I wouldn't know?"

If this had happened before, Qiao Xing might have been able to fool himself, but now, even Qin Ce had figured it out, so it was most likely true.
However, compared to the disbelief she felt when she first learned about this, Qiao Xing is now able to face it calmly.
"But this kind of thing is inherently awkward. We've always maintained a friendship on the surface. Does that mean I have to cut ties with him just because I think he likes me? That would be so awkward!"

She always thought that Shen Boyan might not have such deep feelings for her, or that he simply felt that she was a more suitable partner. Maybe when he saw someone similar to her in the future, he would no longer have those feelings for her.

She suddenly remembered that at the company, Tao Yang and the others always liked to joke about her and Shen Boyan.

Qin Ce never doubted Qiao Xing from beginning to end. If he really thought there was something between her and Shen Boyan, he would never have let her go to Big Bad Wolf Company.
Moreover, Qiao Xing himself understood very well that he didn't need to worry about this matter at all.
So when Qin Ce heard Qiao Xing mention being jealous, he said, "Why would I be jealous? You already have my child. Do you think he still has a chance?"
Qiao Xing recalled his previous attitudes towards Shen Boyan, and she simply couldn't believe he wasn't jealous.
"If you're not jealous, then why are you always at odds with him whenever you see him?"
Qin Ce said, "That's because he's petty."

Qin Ce caught her smirking expression and narrowed his eyes slightly. "What do you mean?"
"It doesn't mean anything. I just feel like I don't need to deliberately keep any distance from him, so that others won't think I dislike him."
As soon as Qiao Xing finished speaking, she suddenly felt a force on her waist, and Qin Ce pulled her in front of him.
Qiao Xing exclaimed, "Be careful not to bump your stomach!"
The two were very close, and Qin Ce's breath fell evenly on Qiao Xing's face.
"Repeat what you just said."
Qiao Xing pretended to be clueless, "What did I just say?"
"Qiao Xing." Qin Ce's voice was deep.

Qin Ce snorted, "Do you think I'm being hypocritical for someone? If I really cared, his company would have ceased to exist long ago."
Qiao Xing's eyes widened suddenly. She was a little suspicious that Qin Ce had always wanted to do this.
Qin Ce saw through her thoughts. "What, are you afraid I'll really do what I say?"
"No, I just think it's unnecessary."
She believed that Qin Ce could do what he said, but the company did not belong to Shen Boyan alone. She had also put in a lot of effort and hard work, as had the other people in the company, who had all witnessed the company's growth step by step.
If it's really just because of Shen Boyan's matter that other people, including the company, are implicated, then that's really unfair.
However, Qiao Xing knew that Qin Ce was not that kind of person.
