Chapter 510: Was he too strict with him?
Upon hearing this, Gao Jin's face showed a hint of anger.
She suppressed her anger and said, "Her grandfather is at work, and her grandmother goes out to play mahjong after breakfast. She doesn't care about Chenchen at all."

He was just following orders. Qin Ce told him to find the child, so he certainly couldn't let that woman take him away.
Gao Jin was somewhat surprised by his reaction; she hadn't expected someone who looked so fierce to be so naive.
Qiao Xing said, "It's getting late, let Xing Jiu take you back."
Gao Jin waved her hands repeatedly, "Don't bother, I can go back by myself. You've already gone to a lot of trouble for me today."
Qiao Xing said, "Anyway, he's fine, let him take you. After something like this happened, I'm a little worried about you and Chenchen traveling alone."
As she spoke, she glanced down at the time again, "It's almost eleven o'clock."
Gao Jin quickly took out her phone and checked the time. It was indeed past 10:40, but even though it was so late, none of her family members called her.

Xing Jiu nodded. "Okay."
Gao Jin wanted to refuse, but Yang Han called Qiao Xing over, so she had no choice but to give up.
After a while, Gao Jin looked at Xing Jiu again and said, "Thank you."
Xing Jiu stood up and rubbed her slightly weak legs. "No need, let's hurry up and go."
Gao Jin said "Oh," and took Chenchen's hand to follow in his footsteps.
He walked a little too fast, and Gao Jin, holding the child's hand, couldn't walk fast enough, so she had to pick the child up and jog to catch up.
Qiao Xing watched the three of them walk away before turning her gaze away. "Why did you call me?"
Yang Han said, "I'll head back now that the matter is resolved."
