Extra 1

Extra 1

Inside the bubble tea shop, a young man and a young woman sat facing each other. The man was wearing a white shirt and had a clean-cut appearance, giving the impression of being a well-behaved and sensible model student.

He rested his chin on his hand, looking at the girl opposite him with a resentful expression. "Ah Ning, when are you going back? This place is no fun at all."

The girl had her hair tied in a high ponytail and was wearing a loose white T-shirt, but it still couldn't hide her slender figure.

Unlike the boys, the girls have more defined features, giving them a cool and aloof air that keeps people at a distance. Their upturned eyes also add a touch of charm. It's hard to imagine that charm and aloofness can coexist in one person.

She glanced at the boy and said, "If you want to go back, just go back yourself. Why are you bothering me?"

Qin Anning changed her posture, crossed her legs, and her every move exuded a carefree air that was completely at odds with her appearance.

Yang Jingyu sighed, said nothing more, and silently pushed his cup of milk tea in front of her.

Qin Anning leaned lazily against her chair, playing with her phone with one hand, not even bothering to pay attention to the boy opposite her.

Yang Jingyu kept stealing glances at her, and thinking about what his father had said, he felt immense pressure.

From a young age, his father said, "Son, you will only have one goal in life, and that is to win Qin Anning's heart."

From the age of three, he followed Qin Anning around. Qin Anning's personality was similar to that of a boy. In kindergarten, she was already the leader of the kindergarten and was known as the number one girl in the kindergarten.

Yang Jingyu was just her little follower; his only role was to carry her schoolbag.

In high school, she was the dream goddess of all the boys, and Yang Jingyu was her little follower, whose role was to help her deal with those love letters.

When Qin Anning went to university in Haicheng, Yang Jingyu's father packed his bags and kicked him out of the house, telling him to go to Haicheng to pursue Qin Anning.

Now that he has graduated from university for two years, Yang Jingyu feels that he probably won't have another chance in his life.

Because Qin Anning is in a relationship.

Upon learning this devastating news, Yang Han angrily blocked her son's contact information.

As Yang Jingyu was lost in thought, Qin Anning suddenly stood up. "He's about to get off work. I'm going to find Fu Yin. You can play by yourself."

Qin Anning walked out of the milk tea shop, hailed a taxi on the roadside, and headed straight for Fu Yin's company building.

After waiting for more than ten minutes at the company entrance, she spotted her boyfriend. Just as she was about to go up and say hello, she noticed that he was with a girl.

The girl kept chattering beside him, but Fu Yin ignored her.

Qin Anning remembered that girl; she was Yuan Xi, a new intern in Fu Yin's department.

"Manager Fu, you were really amazing today. You managed to get them to lower the price, but you ended up losing out. I wish I were as good as you."

Fu Yin frowned, seemingly somewhat impatient.

Looking up, he saw Qin Anning standing not far away. His furrowed brows relaxed, and he quickly walked towards her.

"Anning, what brings you here?"

Qin Anning glanced at the girl and smiled, "I've come to pick you up from get off work."

When Yuan Xi saw her, he seemed a little awkward and said with an embarrassed smile, "Sister Anning, you two have such a good relationship. I heard you've known each other for many years. I'm so envious."

Qin Anning's eyelids twitched, and she turned to look at Fu Yin, "You told her?"

Fu Yin paused for a moment, and was about to speak when Yuan Xi interrupted, "I'm sorry, Sister Anning. I only asked because I saw the date that Manager Fu circled on the calendar."

Although these words seemed to be an explanation, they were actually telling Qin Anning that Fu Yin confided in her about everything.

When Fu Yin told others about their affair, she said that although she was a little bothered by it, she wouldn't get angry over such a small matter.

Qin Anning laughed and said, "I see. We have indeed known each other for many years, since junior high school. But you've only been here for two months, and he's already told you this. It seems you must be very capable at work."

Yuan Xi's smile froze.

Qin Anning took Fu Yin's arm and waved to Yuan Xi, "Alright, we're leaving now, bye-bye."

Yuan Xi forced a smile and said, "Goodbye, Sister Anning."

Once in the car, Fu Yin finally spoke, "An Ning, don't be angry."

Qin Anning fastened her seatbelt and smiled nonchalantly, "I'm not angry, what's the big deal? I believe you."

Fu Yin's brows relaxed, and a gentle smile appeared on his lips.

"I'll cook dinner tonight, what would you like to eat?"

Qin Anning blinked, cupped his cheek and kissed him, "Whatever, I like everything you make."

Fu Yin then drove the car out of the parking lot.

Fu Yin was a serious person, and he would only smile when he was with her.

This is related to his background. When she met him, Qin Anning had just started junior high school, and Fu Yin was a year ahead of her, in the second year of junior high.

On her first day of school, she encountered Fu Yin, who was being cornered in the school's grove. Although it was a bit melodramatic, it did catch Qin Anning's attention.

Fu Yin's family was of modest means. His father broke his leg at a construction site, and his mother abandoned him and his father. There was also his grandfather in the family, and the three of them depended on each other for survival.

Because his family was poor, he was bullied. His lunchbox always contained cold steamed buns. While others carried all sorts of luxurious and beautiful schoolbags, he only had a plastic bag.

His classmate wore shoes worth thousands of yuan, while he wore canvas shoes with open tops. He exuded a poor and shabby aura, which made him a target for bullying by his classmates.

Upon learning of Fu Yin's plight, Qin Anning thought of her own mother and felt a pang of pity.

Later, Qin Anning stepped in to help him, and it took about half a semester for her to successfully get Fu Yin to accept him.

And that's how he became friends with Fu Yin.

Fu Yin had excellent grades and was among the top students, which influenced Qin Anning, a poor student, to start working hard.

Qin Anning had always wanted to meet Fu Yin, but her parents had stopped her, because she didn't want to ruin the friendship she had worked so hard to build with Fu Yin because of her own identity.

Although his parents had secretly observed Fu Yin several times, they both thought he was a good person with a bright future and were very optimistic about him.

So Qin Anning wanted to go to the same university as him and study in another city. Although her parents were reluctant, they still let her go.

After all, she is her parents' only daughter, and her future husband will be the one to help her inherit the company.

Fu Yin is currently still being tested by his parents, and he doesn't know Qin Anning's true identity.

Fu Yin lived up to expectations. Three years after graduation, he rose from a junior employee to his current position as an investment manager, thanks to his own abilities.

Her father said that if she could earn five million within five years, she would pass the test and be allowed to marry Fu Yin.

Given Fu Yin's current abilities, earning five million in the remaining two years shouldn't be too difficult for him.

Thinking of this, Qin Anning turned to look at him, "Fu Yin, when will we be able to have our own house?"

Qin Anning once told him that they would get married after they bought a house in Haishi.

In Shanghai, land is incredibly expensive, and even a small apartment costs tens of millions of yuan. Using this reason, she could easily get Fu Yin to complete the assessment.

Fu Yin said, "It'll be soon. My salary card is with you, isn't it? Take a look at how much we still need."
