Extra 36

Extra 36

She didn't have many things, mainly because she didn't want many of them.

In the past two years, she was worried that Fu Yin would find out something was amiss, so she bought only cheap items. Apart from a computer and a temporary change of clothes, she didn't want anything else.

Qin Man was surprised to see her carrying such a small suitcase. "So little?"

"Yeah, they didn't live there for long, how much could they possibly have left? Let's just get rid of that junk."

Qin Man nodded in agreement, "That's right, wearing those tattered clothes too much will affect our health. Let's go back and buy some new ones."

Yang Jingyu came running over to get the luggage, saying, "I'll help you with it."

Qin Anning didn't stand on ceremony with him. After looking around again, she sighed, turned around and left the apartment. After closing the door, she thought to herself that she would probably never come back here.

First, they went out for a big meal, and then moved their things back to Qin Man's house.

Qin Anning hadn't slept for two days and one night. Even though she was heartbroken, she couldn't resist the drowsiness and fell asleep as soon as she entered the bedroom.

I didn't sleep very soundly, but I did fall asleep eventually.

When she woke up the next day, the sunlight outside the window fell on her face, a little dazzling. She raised her hand to shield her eyes, and as she recalled some things, she couldn't help but feel a little empty inside.

It's a relationship that's lasted for several years. How can you just let it go like that, and move on in a day or two?

After lying in bed in a daze for a while, she composed herself, got up to wash up, and realized that the advantage of Qin Man's apartment was its proximity to her company, which she could walk to.

Upon arriving at the company, Xiao Song greeted her as always. Qin Anning nodded and went straight to Fu Yin's office.

He was organizing documents, his expression normal, as if nothing had happened.

Qin Anning stood at the door, staring at him for a long time, unsure whether he had genuinely not seen her or was pretending not to, as she kept her head down tidying up the documents on the table.

Qin Anning sighed silently.

Dad was right about him. This guy is capable, ambitious, and stubborn.

Everything about it was fine, but it wasn't suitable for Qin Anning.

After standing there for a while, Qin Anning went inside.

Fu Yin worked with his head down for ten minutes before he finished organizing all the documents. He then stood up and looked at Qin Anning.

“I have already categorized the documents and made a list. I believe it shouldn’t be difficult for you to understand them.”

His businesslike demeanor caused Qin Anning an uncontrollable pang of pain in her heart.

But she didn't show it on her face, and continued to look at Fu Yin calmly.

Fu Yin began to explain the documents to her, as well as the company's current clients and the progress of the projects.

“I’ve already spoken to those clients and they know who you are. They probably wouldn’t dare to have any other ideas, and they might even increase their investment later.”

At this point, Fu Yin gave a self-deprecating smile, "I must say, having your identity makes things much easier."

Qin Anning didn't say anything, she just looked at him.

Fu Yin also composed himself and continued speaking.

After a while, Qin Anning suddenly said, "Fu Yin."

Fu Yin stopped abruptly, and looked up at Qin Anning, as if waiting for her to continue.

Qin Anning said, "Does being with me really make you feel ashamed?"

“It’s not shameful.” Fu Yin replied without hesitation.

"Then why are you so adamant? The reasons you gave are hard to understand."

Fu Yin didn't look into her eyes, whether out of fear or unwillingness, he said in a deep voice, "Let's get down to business."

"Important business? Isn't this important business?"

Qin Anning said, "Fu Yin, I'll only say this once. You need to think it through. No matter what your reasons or difficulties are, after this, no matter how much you achieve in the future, there will be no possibility between us."

Fu Yin paused slightly, then relaxed again. "That's how it should be."

Qin Anning smiled. "Okay, I understand."

Fu Yin looked at her, "Since I've made my choice, I'm not going to make you wait for me. Besides... I don't have the confidence to make you wait."

Now it was Qin Anning's turn to be stunned.

Looking at Fu Yin, she suddenly understood a little.

He didn't want to live under a woman's protection, nor did he have enough confidence to guarantee that he could stand on the same level as her, so he made this decision.

If he were to confidently tell Qin Anning that he would definitely achieve his goal given a certain amount of time, it would seem rather hypocritical.

Even if his own father came and stood in Fu Yin's position, he couldn't make that guarantee.

As he just mentioned, those clients he went to great lengths to secure cooperation with, upon simply revealing Qin Anning's identity, were all showered with flattery and eager to invest more, fearing they might miss out on this opportunity.

With his abilities, he would definitely be a qualified successor at S&C, but for him, it was just a paved road, a gift to him.

He was unwilling to accept it.

In a sense, Fu Yin's decision to break up was for Qin Anning's own good, and also for Qin Anning's.

He didn't want to face immense pressure to accomplish an extremely difficult goal, as that would only delay Qin Anning's progress.

Without this pressure, he can focus on doing what he wants without distraction, and even if he doesn't achieve his goal, he won't hold Qin Anning back.

Qin Anning stopped talking to him about these things and calmed down to hand over the work to him.

After the handover was almost complete, the two went to process the share transfer.

After that, Fu Yin had no further connection with the company.

The two stood at the company entrance, speechless. Now, it was truly time for them to part ways completely.

Fu Yin looked at her, hesitant to speak, but ultimately said nothing.

"I'm leaving now."

After saying that, he turned and left without looking back.

Qin Anning stared at him until he disappeared. When she came to her senses, she felt that the sun in the sky was extremely dazzling.

She turned around and went back to the company, calling a meeting with all the employees, including Yang Jingyu.

It was announced that Fu Yin was leaving the company and that the shares would be redistributed. Everyone present was a long-time employee and would receive a share.

Some people were happy, while others hesitated.

Owning shares is equivalent to owning the company's joint debts. Now that Fu Yin is gone, some people don't believe Qin Anning can manage the company well.

Qin Anning didn't care; she wouldn't force anyone who didn't want to, and she could also resign.

Apart from Xiao Song, the others seemed unwilling to accept shares, but also unwilling to resign.

They were clearly just there to coast along, so Qin Anning told them to pack their things and leave.

Then the shares were redistributed: she took 51%, Yang Jingyu took 20%, Xiao Song took 5%, and the rest were left to those who came later.

When Qin Man heard about this, she also insisted on joining the company.

Now that Fu Yin was no longer a concern, Qin Anning allowed her to come. Qin Man didn't hesitate either, investing all the money she had left in exchange for 10% of the shares.

Qin Man didn't want to do a too tiring job, so Qin Anning had her take Xiao Song's place as an administrative supervisor. As for Xiao Song, she was assigned to be the HR supervisor.
