Qin Anning remained noncommittal, got up and went to the kitchen to help with the cooking.
Her cooking skills have improved a lot in the past few years, and she can make simple dishes without any problem.
The thought that she hadn't cooked for her parents yet filled her with guilt, so she immediately rolled up her sleeves and went into the kitchen.
"Mom, I'll make some too."
Qiao Xing glanced at her in surprise, then smiled and said, "Okay, so what are you planning to do?"
"Hmm... let me see."
Qin Anning rummaged through the ingredients and said, "I'll make this steamed sea bass."
Qiao Xing nodded, "Okay, then this dish is yours."
The mother and daughter cooked the meal together, with Qin Anning helping out the whole time. The dishes were all relatively light.

The family of three sat at the dining table. Qin Anning stood up and served them food, saying, "Mom and Dad, how's my cooking?"

Indeed, the food Qin Anning picked up wasn't made by her, but by Qiao Xing, which is why Qiao Xing had that strange expression.
Qin Anning smiled awkwardly and put another piece of fish on his plate. "Dad, this is really what I made. Please try it."
But Qin Ce refused to comment no matter what he said; whatever he said only made him look like a clown.
"Dad, why aren't you saying anything? Is it not tasty?"
Qin Ce said with a stern face, "One should not speak while eating or sleeping."
Qin Anning couldn't help but laugh.
Qiao Xing glared at her, "You little brat, you have no manners, daring to tease your dad. Hurry up and eat."
Qin Anning shrank her neck and whispered, "Just trying to liven things up."
Qiao Xing shook her head. It was only because she was his own daughter that Qin Ce would have started cursing at her. If it were anyone else, Qin Ce would probably have already done so.
After returning home, Yang Han secluded himself in his study and began contacting his network of contacts to gather information on outstanding young men.
In just one night, he had already collected more than twenty files, all of which were of promising young talents.
The housekeeper handed him the printed documents, and Yang Han nodded in satisfaction as he flipped through them, "As expected of me."
Then, remembering something else, he continued collecting information on outstanding young girls. He had already made arrangements for Anning, so he had to make arrangements for his own son as well.
They can go on blind dates together and get to know each other better. Otherwise, it would be embarrassing if Qin Anning was already single while her son was still single.
Yang Han thought her idea was brilliant.
The next morning, Qin Anning was still asleep when Yang Han's phone call woke her up.
She groggily fumbled for her phone, and as soon as the call connected, Yang Han's excited voice came through, "Ningning, come over here right away, I have something good to tell you."
Qin Anning squinted at the time; it was only 7:30. She was immediately alarmed. "Uncle Yang, what's wrong? It's only 7:30!"
"Just come here. What are you doing sleeping in, young man? Get up now! I'm waiting for you for a few tens of minutes, it's extremely urgent."
Before Qin Anning could speak, the call was hung up.
Qin Anning sighed in frustration, tossed her phone back, covered her head, and went back to sleep.
Two minutes later, she suddenly sat up and got out of bed resignedly.
