His eyes darted around, and he grinned foolishly, looking just like a madman. His uncle, however, was quick-witted; he put on this act in front of others.
"Uncle!" Wan'er frowned, turned to look at him, and whispered, "Didn't I tell you to stay in the car?"
"You can't go down there, there are so many people here..." Mercury lowered his voice, a silly smile on his lips, but a sound came from his throat that only Wan'er could hear.
"Oh," Wan'er was taken aback, suddenly remembering that last night in the sea, she was covered in red light, with plum blossoms blooming under her armpits. There were also fish tails wrapped around her feet. If she were to enter the water and reveal her true form now, she would indeed be in trouble.
Thinking of this, Wan'er couldn't help but gasp. She buttoned up her clothes again, turned around, and walked towards the railing above, preparing to leave the water's edge.
"Waaah! If you don't save me, I'll never get out again. I'm under a curse, they can't see me, please..." "If you don't want to reveal your true form, then don't use your spiritual power." Seeing the terrifying determination in Wan'er's eyes, and suppressing his inner fear, Mercury finally let go. Mercury was hinting to Wan'er that she should be careful in everything she did. Wan'er nodded without showing any emotion, turned around and walked towards the railing, taking off her coat as she went and draping it over the railing.
Then, without hesitation, he continued down the stone steps along the embankment...
At that moment, no one noticed that a faint light appeared on Wan'er's clothes. It was the little prince who had leaped onto the railing and used his invisibility technique to press his entire weight onto her clothes.
Wan'er, whatever you want to do, I will silently support you and protect you.
The little prince stared wide-eyed at the familiar figure, and in an instant, with a "plop!" Wan'er jumped into the river...
"Oh dear! This girl is really stubborn. The water is so cold, yet she jumped in." An old woman who had walked some distance away to the riverbank and was talking to someone turned around and saw that it was Wan'er who had jumped in.
