Chapter 15 Su Mei Arrives

"Meow!" A soft meow came from beside her ear. Wan'er, who was fast asleep, trembled her thick black eyelashes. The next second, she moved her arm, and "whoosh!" a small figure in her arms quickly left.

Wan'er opened her eyes and found them soaked with sweat. The little prince sat by the bed, quietly watching her, his blue eyes deep and serene.

"Is it dawn?" Sunlight streamed in through the window. Wan'er raised her hand to shield her eyes, feeling the throbbing pain in her forehead subside and her whole body relax considerably. She propped herself up with her hands, shifted her feet, and reached into the wardrobe to search for clothes…

Seeing Wan'er's light steps, the kitten sitting by the bedside lit up. He gently twitched his whiskers, and a smile appeared on his lips, a hint of amusement on the little cat's face.

Great! I succeeded. I never expected that a simple thought, a focused mind, would actually drive my own energy and transfer it to Wan'er, thus expelling the cold energy from her body.

The kitten was overjoyed, but Wan'er was unaware of everything he had done for her.

"Luckily I took my medicine before bed. This medicine is amazing; I only took it once, and I'm better so quickly..." Wan'er muttered to herself, already holding her clothes. As she turned around, her eyes met the cat's eyes.

My goodness! This cat can smile! Watching the smile on the little prince's face vanish in an instant, Wan'er could still sense that his gaze was gentle and contained a hint of affection.

"Meow!" Seeing Wan'er looking at him, the little prince's ears twitched, and he lowered his head and turned around to face the wall next to him.

"Little Prince, are you hungry? Wait, I'll take a bath and then make you breakfast, and then..." Seeing the kitten with its back to her, Wan'er felt a little uneasy. It's just that there's another cat, but why do I feel like I'm treating it like a family member?

Wan'er shook her head, gave a self-deprecating bitter laugh, and walked towards the bathroom.

She left. Hearing her footsteps, the little prince exhaled, jumped to the ground, and followed Wan'er out of the bedroom, listening to the "splashing" sound of water coming from the bathroom.

The Little Prince sat down on the windowsill in the living room, gazing out the window. His small and slender figure gave him a somewhat philosopher-like state of contemplation.

"Knock, knock, knock!" Just then, there was a rapid knocking at the door.

Who is it? Why are you in such a hurry? The little prince turned around, jumped off the windowsill, and tried to open the door.

However, when he stood behind the door and stood on tiptoe, he found that his claws could not reach it. He was wondering whether he should move a chair to stand on and continue opening the door.

Then, feeling that something might have gone wrong, she went back to the sofa, sat down, and stared blankly at the pretty, blurry figure reflected on the semi-transparent door frame.

Wan'er must have heard the sound; it's better to let her handle it herself. The "splashing" sound of water abruptly stopped.

"Coming, coming!" Sure enough, the bathroom door opened and Wan'er hurriedly came out.

Her face was flushed, and she wore a pink shower cap and a thick pink towel. As she passed the sofa, she casually grabbed a coat from it and put it on before opening the door.

A woman of medium height and rather plump figure, wearing a red casual outfit and with a round face, slipped in through the half-open doorway as she pushed it open.

"Wan'er, are you alright?" The girl grabbed Wan'er's arm as soon as she entered the room.

"What could possibly happen to me?" Wan'er pouted and replied, then pushed Su Mei's hand away and pulled her back to sit on the sofa.
