Chapter 171 Accidentally Entering a Terrifying Illusion

My sister Song Hye-kyo never fights a battle she's not sure she can win, but I never expected that she would still be outmaneuvered today.

Looking back on the process, I realized last night I had a premonition that someone would come into my room, so I put a set of clothes on the bed, wondering if it would help...

Who knew that the moment you came in, you saw it and even put it on? I thought my chance had come. When I brought you here, I even cast an illusion on the clothes. As long as you keep wearing it and leave this room, you will no longer be able to see your so-called sister.

Because of you, I can no longer escape any of the illusions I've created...

That's why I dared to bring you here last night.

Your sister will also go where she is supposed to go, as I have arranged.

The path is never wrong, but there are two: one is a dead end, and the other is a path to survival.

I didn't want this either, Song Hye-kyo sighed deeply. But only when she's gone will you be mine.

What a perfect setup! We were each getting what we wanted.

I didn't expect to mess it up in the end. I didn't give anything away, so how did you know there was something wrong with this outfit...?

What exactly is wrong?

Song Hye-kyo buried her head in her hands and slumped to the ground, her eyes blank and unfocused.

Meanwhile, in the corridor, Wan'er kept walking forward. As she walked, she slowed down and looked around. She was also wondering, something seems wrong. Why is this road getting longer and longer?

Wan'er, wait! I think I smell blood! "Meow!" The little prince pricked up his ears and sniffed.

Wasn't it said that spiritual power would disappear in illusions? Why does it feel different now...?

The Little Prince looked up and saw something was wrong! The path Wan'er had walked ahead was no longer a corridor; in the distance, a vast expanse of smoke and filth filled the air, and the ground was littered with human bones…

Five meters away, as the fog dissipated slightly, the little prince saw another horrifying scene.

Before anyone knew it, the bones had rapidly overlapped, forming a strange arrow about half a meter thick, at least the length of an adult, pointing directly in the direction Wan'er was walking.

Oh no! I can vaguely see a red "death" character printed at the very front of the arrow.

"Don't go forward, turn around quickly!" The little prince spoke a sentence that Wan'er heard clearly.

"Is that you, Mo Tian?" Wan'er stopped abruptly, looking around blankly.

"Mo Tian?" The little prince was taken aback at first, but quickly realized what was happening. Although he felt a pang of sadness, he could only consider the bigger picture. "Let's go back quickly,"

"Okay! I'll do whatever you say." Wan'er felt the voice was right in front of her, but she didn't dare to linger. Wan'er firmly believed that Mo Tian wouldn't harm her.

Wan'er turned around quickly, but after taking only a few steps, she saw a cliff in front of her, and looking down, she could not see the bottom.

She hesitated, pulled her foot back, and tensed up. "Oh my god, this is a cliff!"

"It's just an illusion!" the little prince said again.

This time, Wan'er heard clearly and looked down at the little prince. "Little prince, is that you speaking? Your voice is exactly the same as Mo Tian's. Could it be that your master has possessed you?"

"Master, my master? Isn't my master you? Where did this other master come from?" The little prince was puzzled when he heard something behind him.

"Sizzle!" A strange sound suddenly rang out.

Sensing something was amiss, the little prince leaped upwards, peering over Wan'er's arm and looking behind her. The arrow that had just been placed on the ground was now rapidly shrinking, emitting black smoke.
