Her previously numb heart was unexpectedly awakened, and for the first time, a sense of sorrow began to grow within her, while a chilling coldness quietly crept through her body.
After the sharp pain, Su Li sat up abruptly, then coughed up a mouthful of black blood. As she struggled to lift her head, she collapsed backward into unconsciousness…
"Sigh..." A sigh brushed past my ear.
A faint red light appeared between her eyebrows, and a red feather, about an inch long, slowly floated out.
The feather quickly swam around the large hole outside, and finally seemed to have figured out the direction. It turned right, came to the pool where the blood orbs were stored, and went straight to the bottom of the water...
On the right side of the underwater surface, there is a small, dry space that is sealed on all four sides except for the side closest to the water, which is blocked from the water source by something like glass.
The faint red light pierced through the glass and shone inside.
A woman is bound here, her hair disheveled, her clothes tattered, her eyes tightly closed, her head drooping helplessly to one side...
The feather circled halfway around her, then stood upright between her eyebrows, trembling gently. A moment later, an almost identical red feather emerged. The two red feathers floated lightly in the air, like close friends, end to end, and quickly returned to the cave along the same path…
Suddenly, a thick fog appeared out of nowhere. Without pausing, the feather plunged into it and disappeared into the fog...
"Li'er, September..." In the hazy dream, a voice called out. The call sounded both affectionate and urgent.
Thick fog enveloped them as Su Li strode forward, her footsteps echoing around her. No matter how hard she tried to turn around and open her eyes, she couldn't see through the dense fog to make out who was beside her…
A woman's hand reached out from the side and rested on her shoulder.
"Who?" Su Li was annoyed. She stopped and tried to shake off the other person's arm.
"Who am I? Don't you know?" The voice was very familiar. Su Li immediately recognized it as Jiu Yue, the one she had captured and who had taken the Illusionary Spirit Pill from. "You, give me back the Illusionary Spirit Pill!"
"How did you get out?" Su Li asked in surprise, leaning back and slapping away the hand that was grabbing her.
As the fog dissipated slightly, Su Li could clearly see the person standing in front of her, who was indeed disheveled and filled with resentment in her eyes, Jiu Yue.
"Hmph! How did I get out? Of course, someone rescued me. You thought your Black Water Formation could trap me? You heartless woman, you were an accomplice to evil, and you actually tricked me out of my Illusionary Spirit Pill." The cold light in Jiu Yue's eyes was like a knife about to kill.
"Hey! Are you kidding me? You agreed to this deal yourself. It was consensual, so how can you blame anyone else?" Su Li grinned coldly, not wanting to pay any attention to her, and started walking forward.
If you're gone, then so be it. Without my master's orders, I won't take you back.
"You, you stop right there!" September persisted, stepping forward and grabbing Su Li's collar...
"Let go! Don't think I won't hit you." Although Su Li shouted, she only pushed her forcefully and did not hit her hard.
And so, the two entangled for more than ten meters, until a flat area appeared in front of them, where a vague figure stood, blocking their way.
"I'll be waiting for you here," the man called out to them before Su Li could ask anything.
