Chapter 49 The Blue-Haired, Blue-Eyed Man Has Arrived

Then, a white light appeared near his mouth, and with a "whoosh!" sound, he felt a cool sensation slide down his throat...

The civet cat shuddered, suddenly realizing its body was rapidly shrinking. Once it was as small as a tiny mouse, it successfully escaped from the iron cage.

Seeing the black mist above the cave, the little prince hesitated to take a big step forward.

"I'm here to protect you, so go ahead and be bold," a child's voice encouraged him. The voice seemed to come from his own stomach. The little prince looked down and was startled to find that he had turned into completely transparent gas. He took a deep breath, then raised his head and began to move swiftly across the ground…

"I'm so angry! How could he run so fast? How is that possible? Unless..." The masked man's furious voice came from inside the cave. "Thump thump thump!" He stomped his feet repeatedly, and the cave echoed with a terrifying roar. At that moment, the Little Prince had already swum across the river and magically disappeared...

The temperature fluctuated wildly, and within a mere two feet of me—in front, behind, above, below, and to the sides—were smooth walls of pipes. Where was I? There was no view; the walls were a deep red, and the heat was almost unbearable.

Wan'er struggled forward, trying to escape, but after only a few steps, the red color vanished, replaced by a silvery-white aura, and a chilling coldness assailed her from all directions...

Wan'er hugged her shoulders tightly, her bare feet touching the ground. Her feet, which had been burning just now, were now numb from the cold, and she couldn't take a step for a moment.

"Help me!" he stammered, managing to utter just two words before a sudden flash of light appeared below his neck...

"Meow!" A clear, urgent meow came from the end of the pipe ahead.

"Whoosh!" A few seconds later, a magical force pulled Wan'er out of the tube.

The surroundings opened up, and the starry sky faintly illuminated the forest path.

"Little Prince, is that you?" In her haste, Ye Wan'er opened her mouth to call out, but had already taken a step forward. The road was covered with a thick layer of withered yellow leaves, so she couldn't feel the pain in her wound...

Under the bright moonlight, the path is straight and long, secluded and tranquil.

"Little Prince, is that you?" After walking a few steps, a small dark figure was squatting not far away.

Crunch, crunch! The sound of footsteps on fallen leaves made Wan'er clearly see the little prince's small figure when she was less than a meter away.

A flash of white light streaked past, and stimulated by the bright light, Wan'er instinctively raised her hand to shield her eyes.

The bright light didn't go away. When she let go of her hand that was blocking it, the little prince was gone. In the place where he had been, a young man wearing a blue sleeveless long shirt appeared, revealing his slender arms. The man slowly stood up from the ground. He was tall and slender. Even when he looked down at Wan'er, he was at least a head taller.

With a full forehead and square jaw, a high and straight nose, well-defined lips, fair and smooth skin, and exquisite features, it seemed that all the best qualities were gathered on him.

The man had distinctive blue curly hair, and especially his deep blue, serene eyes, which were like a pool of seawater, clear and mysterious, seemingly hiding many secrets...

But—these eyes...where have I seen them before?

"You are..." My God, this man is too handsome! Her throat went dry, and Wan'er swallowed hard.

At this moment, Ye Wan'er simply gazed up at him, seemingly lost in his deep blue eyes...

The air seemed to freeze for a moment. Her long black hair flowed behind her head, Wan'er's face was flushed, and her full red lips, like cherries, were slightly parted. Her beautiful black eyes were clear and bright, so pure that they seemed to have no impurities at all...
