Chapter 74 Wan'er's Soul Leaves Her Body

"Er Gouzi, something seems different today." Uncle came up behind Wan'er, his face somewhat solemn, full of doubts. "He went straight out as soon as he woke up. Sigh! I guess I'm getting senile. I shouldn't have believed him and delayed your business."

Er Gou Ge is indeed different now. He must have his reasons for avoiding his uncle and aunt earlier. In that case, I should keep his secret.

“Uncle, don’t say that,” Wan’er turned around, took her uncle’s arm, and said calmly, “After all, you did this for me! Besides, this matter is strange, maybe he really knows something, but he doesn’t have the ability to express it right now. I’ll go see him again tomorrow!”

"Perhaps you're right. In that case, let's get some rest." Su Gong looked up at the night sky, turned around, and walked back to the main room first...

Nothing happened that night. After washing up, Wan'er took the little prince and went upstairs early to the rightmost bedroom. She lay down on the bed that her aunt had prepared for her, which had a thick new cotton quilt, and closed her eyes. She quickly shed her fatigue...

A wisp of white mist drifted in through the second-floor window...

The morning in the countryside was exceptionally peaceful. Wan'er was fast asleep when white mist swirled in and gradually approached her...

The little prince, who had been sleeping soundly, suddenly raised his head and opened his eyes, looking around warily. However, the aura of spiritual energy was very similar to that of Wan'er. Could it be that my senses were wrong?

Seeing that Wan'er was sleeping soundly, the little prince walked over and stood beside her pillow. Suddenly, he lowered his head and gently kissed Wan'er's forehead. At the same time, a strange light spun into an oval circle between the man and the cat, appearing faintly between them before quickly disappearing.

An indescribable sense of wonder instantly filled the Little Prince's mind.

What am I doing? Why am I kissing her? Is it just because she's my master? But...

"Sister Wan'er," just then, a bright light suddenly appeared outside the originally dark window, and it seemed that Er Gouzi was downstairs calling for Wan'er.

The sound wasn't loud; it seemed to have woken no one except the little prince. Wan'er lay motionless on the bed with her eyes closed.

Strangely, a beam of light seemed to suddenly emerge from Wan'er's body, drifting out from above her...

Oh no! Wan'er's soul has left her body! Judging from this, she's probably been attracted by something. Soul separation is no simple matter. If a spirit can control its own spiritual power, it won't cause any harm.

If an ordinary human being were to have their soul leave their body and never be able to recall it, the consequences would be unimaginable.

Although Wan'er is stunningly beautiful, she seems to be just an ordinary woman. How could she possibly have her soul leave her body so easily?

A wisp of a spirit was seen swirling around the room, breaking through the window several times...

"Wan'er, quickly return to your body!" The little prince was anxious. He pricked up his ears, stood up, and suddenly leaped into the swirling mist...

"Where is this? Is anyone here?" Looking up and around, all she could see was a thick fog, with no scenery or people in sight. Wan'er stretched out her hands and groped around.

"Wan'er, come with me," a voice called out from the unseen figure; it was Er Gou's voice.

"Brother Gouzi, where are you?" Unable to pinpoint the direction of the voice, Wan'er took a deep breath, pressed one hand to her chest, and continued to grope her surroundings.
