Chapter 36 Crazy

Chapter 36 Crazy

"Mo Yang, have another piece." Xu Jiaman picked up another piece of pineapple and put it to his mouth.

Gu Moyang didn't take it. He glanced at the cup of water he had just handed to Jiang Jibai and didn't touch the water.

He sighed deeply, stood up, and walked straight to the boss chair. His deep eyes beneath his straight eyelashes showed no emotion. "If you don't want to eat, take it away."

Xu Jiaman followed his gaze and pursed her lips in disappointment.

Didn’t you just say it was okay? Why don’t you want to eat it now?

Jiang Jibai walked through the long corridor.

She held her bag, lowered her head slightly, tears welling up in her eyes, and walked faster and faster on the marble floor with unsteady steps.

Unexpectedly, she bumped into someone on the road and subconsciously looked up to say sorry.

When I looked up, I didn't expect that the person was Ji An.

Ji An looked at her red eyes and said in surprise: "You..."

Jiang Jibai lowered his head and hurried away without waiting for him to finish a sentence.

Ji An looked at her hurriedly leaving back, what was going on? Ji An turned and walked towards Gu Moyang's office.

After leaving Heguang, Jiang Jibai wandered aimlessly on the street, his body swaying heavily and feeling as if he would lose control of his falling body and fall to the side of the road in the next second.

I felt an unprecedented anger, boredom, sadness, and grief in my heart. Several emotions intertwined together and finally turned into a feeling of powerlessness that flowed out of my eyes.

Through tearful eyes, Jiang Jibai saw a trash can on the street, and she seemed to have thought of something.

She took out a stack of paper design plans from her bag and began to tear them apart frantically.

All is not needed.

Go to hell!

Anyone who wants to take this project can take it.

She won't serve anymore.

She made a decision the moment she left Gu Moyang's office.

She would abandon the project and leave her job.

The sound of papers being torn into pieces mixed with the roar of cars rolling across the road.

A few passers-by looked at her with scrutiny, but Jiang Jibai lowered her head and had no time to pay attention.

All the papers were torn into pieces and thrown into the trash can, just like her broken heart, being torn into pieces bit by bit.

Rain began to fall in the gray-blue sky, and Jiang Jibai dragged his tired body towards the subway entrance.

The rain had already intensified before we even reached the subway entrance.

The rain curtain fell from the sky, like a huge and impenetrable net, washing over the cold high-rise buildings.

Jiang Jibai didn't bring an umbrella. She walked step by step in the rain without running. Soon her clothes were wet by the rain.

Passersby gave her strange looks, but she didn't care.

When she got home, it was already seven o'clock in the evening. Her clothes and hair were all wet, and water droplets dripped down the hem of her clothes, leaving stains all the way.

Jiang Jibai numbly took off his wet clothes, took a hot bath, wrapped himself tightly in the quilt and prepared to face the long night.

11 o'clock at night.

Ji An saw Gu Moyang coming out of the office and raised his eyebrows, "Finally, I waited for you to finish the meeting."

Gu Moyang, holding his suit jacket, gave him a dull look and walked on. "What's wrong? You're still waiting for me at this hour. Are you free?"

"I didn't drive here today, so I wanted a ride."

Ji An quickly caught up with him and walked to his side.

Ji An thought of Jiang Jibai's tearful look in the afternoon and his curiosity was ignited.

He greeted her in a casual tone, "Did Jiang Jibai come to the company this afternoon?"

When Jiang Jibai was mentioned, Gu Moyang's eyes flickered slightly, but he quickly suppressed the waves in his heart, replacing it with an unspeakable feeling of stuffiness.

He put his hands in his pockets and said "hmm" softly, as if he didn't want to talk about it anymore.

Seeing the displeasure on his face, Ji An could only cautiously test his judgment, "Is she here to discuss a plan with you?"

Gu Moyang stopped at the elevator door and pressed the down button hard. The silver metal material of the elevator gave off a cold feeling.

"right."

The elevator door slowly opened and Gu Moyang walked straight in. The mirrored metal space inside the elevator reflected his cold and sharp facial features.

Ji An followed him in and asked, "Did everything go well for you?"

He turned around and frowned impatiently at Ji An, who was standing sideways, "What do you want to say?"

Ji An raised his eyebrows: "I have to say something to you. How come you made someone cry while discussing a plan?"

"You said she cried?" Gu Moyang's tone was very cold in this closed air.

"Don't you know? She ran into me when she came out of your office. Her eyes were red and she looked so pitiful. I couldn't bear it."

Crying?

Gu Moyang tightened his grip on his suit jacket. As the elevator felt weightless, his heart seemed to slowly sink to the bottom of a deep abyss.

Did he really go too far?

The elevator stopped and the feeling of weightlessness slowly disappeared. Gu Moyang pinched his brows and walked out of the elevator with big steps.

Ji An followed behind him, but could hardly keep up with his pace.

"What did you say to her? Why did you make her cry?"

"Shut up! If you ask again, I'll leave you here."

Gu Moyang's face was colder than the ice in winter.

Ji An didn't dare to ask anymore. It was definitely not a good thing, but he also wanted to be a part of the bad news!

Gu Moyang got into the car and glanced at Ji An who was sitting in the passenger seat.

"I won't send you back yet."

Ji An:?

"It's half past eleven at night. If you don't take me home, where are you going to take me?

He met Gu Moyang's sharp eyes and said, "Although I am handsome, I like women."

"Keep your heart in your stomach. Even if there are no women in the world, I will not like you."

Ji An breathed a sigh of relief, "Then I feel relieved."

"Go run with me." Gu Moyang started the car, and the car quickly drove out of the underground parking lot and into the bustling street scene.

"Holy crap! Running so late at night? Haven't you exhausted all your energy for the day yet?"

Gu Moyang: "I've been holding it in for a few years, where can I go to release it?"

Ji An: "Why are you pretending? You have hands, where are you going?"

Gu Moyang stared straight ahead at the neon lights, the light shining into his dark eyes, "Jinghuai University."

Ji An was stunned.

During the twenty or so kilometers inside Jinghuai University, Ji An felt like he was really crazy.

Not only is she crazy herself, but she also has to take him with her.
