Ji Qingqian's husband has been a bit free these past few days. The main reason is his profession as a writer; he just finished writing a novel a couple of days ago. With no work on his plate, he's free.
But despite having plenty of free time, I'm not feeling well. The cause is insomnia.
Mr. Lu said he had two main reasons for his insomnia. First, when a writer finishes a novel, it feels like saying goodbye, leaving him feeling empty. The second reason was less important: there was construction work downstairs, and the drilling was very noisy. Ji Qingqian went to bed early; she could fall asleep with headphones on, but Mr. Lu didn't have that skill.
The consequences of insomnia were fully demonstrated in Mr. Lu's case.

Mr. Lu corrected, "listless!"

Ji Qingqian thought Mr. Lu was right.
Mr. Lu just finished playing Stardew Valley, saying he wasn't used to using a controller. Ji Qingqian thought that was wrong. He was simply bad at the game.
"I still have extra chapters and an author's note to write," Mr. Lu said miserably to Ji Qingqian, almost in tears. "But I have a headache and don't want to write."
Ji Qingqian said, "Then don't write it."
Mr. Lu said he had to write, even though he doesn't usually chat with readers. He had to write a closing statement.
Ji Qingqian said, "Then write it."
Mr. Lu said, "But I have a headache."
Ji Qingqian said, "Man, what exactly do you want?"
Mr. Lu said, "You write it for me."
Ji Qingqian said, "Are you sick?"
Mr. Lu said with distress, "If loving you is a disease, then I have an incurable disease."
Ji Qingqian thought he was incredibly unsophisticated. She was a strong-willed woman and wouldn't help him with his work just because of a few nice words.
But Mr. Lu said a couple of things.
Ji Qingqian hadn't written an essay since high school. Lu Yibei said, "It's alright, we can chat with the readers. You can read a few comments and then we can reply to them."
Ji Qingqian thought Lu Yibei was unreasonable—he dared to do the "read comments" challenge today, and he would dare to do the "don't laugh" challenge tomorrow.
Ji Qingqian didn't want to write such a statement for Mr. Lu because it wasn't challenging.
But Ji Qingqian still wrote it in the end because there was no challenge.
Ji Qingqian, holding her tablet, snuggled up to Mr. Lu, who was lying on the sofa. Ji Qingqian kind of liked the feeling of the two of them huddled together. She wondered if you guys felt a sense of security when you were little and slept with your whole body hidden under the covers, something similar.
Mr. Lu watched along with Ji Qingqian.
She read aloud, "First, why wasn't the wedding mentioned? I can answer that, because there was no wedding. Second, is it a diary? I can also answer that, no, how could it be a diary?"
Mr. Lu's answer was quite professional: "In chapter 261, I mentioned that I would write a novel based on you, which means that it hadn't been written yet at that time. Lu Yibei didn't play turn-based games because he was bad at them; he simply liked the unique gameplay that combined RPG and visual novel elements.
Action Master can play the Persona series as well as turn-based games.
Even those who aren't good at action games can play the Persona series, which features turn-based gameplay.

So the idea came up: "We just started university this year," and I copied that date system, following the real timeline. We've already graduated from university.
They thought the diary entry was normal because it was done on purpose by that cunning Mr. Lu.
Ji Qingqian added, "Given how nervous you were when you met your father-in-law, it couldn't have been a diary entry. You were probably thinking about the Three Battles with the White Bone Demon at the time."
"I was referring to the Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage. You've only ever said 'borrowing the banana leaf fan three times,' does that sound like 'fighting the White Bone Demon three times'?" Mr. Lu criticized.
Ji Qingqian ignored him.
"Besides, I wasn't that nervous. It's just a necessary exaggeration for artistic purposes in the novel," Mr. Lu said.
Ji Qingqian still ignored him and continued reading.
"And this one, a lot of people have asked it too, ever since the book was first written. 'Why did Lu Yibei like Zhou Zhou back then? She doesn't seem to have any good points.'"
Mr. Lu was a little embarrassed, and he asked Ji Qingqian to change the subject. Ji Qingqian didn't want to change it, but Mr. Lu begged her.
