Chapter 6 She is her

The waiter shook his head: "No need, just tell me... Lu Yibei?"

Lu Yibei was putting away his phone and shaking off the water stains from his shirt when he heard the waiter call his name. He looked up and asked, "Xia Li?"

The girl standing behind the counter was about the same age as him, quite short, with smooth, healthy wheat-colored skin. She looked at Lu Yibei in surprise, and Lu Yibei could see her signature canine tooth in her slightly open mouth.

Xia Li said, "They even came out in the rain."

Lu Yibei plopped down on the sofa in the store and leaned back:

"This is a high-stakes gamble."

"What are we betting on?"

"I'm betting it won't rain so soon," Lu Yibei said.

"You lost, didn't you?" Xia Li pouted.

“We’ve lost everything.” Lu Yibei said, somewhat pained.
