Just as Lu Yibei had said before, the rain continued until Saturday.
Despite the drizzling rain, Ji Qingqian still walked briskly to the foot of Building 4 of the men's dormitory.
Today is the first time she has come to pick up her little boy to go out and play.
[Qingqian: I've arrived]
[Abei: ?]
[Abei: Didn't I tell you to tell me before you left?]
[Qingqian: It's nothing]
[Qingqian: I'll wait for you, take your time.]
[Abei: I'm coming down right away]
On the day off, and with the rain, not many students left the dormitory.
A few people, hurrying in and out of the dormitory, couldn't help but glance at Ji Qingqian standing outside the men's dormitory.
Ji Qingqian's expression was indifferent, revealing neither joy nor anger, nor any desire to talk to anyone.
She looked at the dark sky; thankfully, the rain wasn't heavy.
She then pressed down the brim of the slightly oversized baseball cap on her head, which she had asked Abei for.
Even though Ji Qingqian presented herself as someone who didn't care about the world, some boys were still attracted by her beauty and wanted to get close to her.
However, the boy was immediately pulled back by his companion:
"Be more careful. The person has an umbrella. They can't possibly be sheltering from the rain under the men's dormitory, can they? They must be waiting for someone."
The boy is confused:
"Snacks? What snacks?"
“…You good-for-nothing, hurry up and come with your father. If her boyfriend comes out, he might punch you.”
Ji Qingqian used the darkened screen as a mirror to carefully examine her slender oval face, and then checked that there were no problems with her clothes and shoes, even the shoelaces were tied tightly.
The way they greeted Ah Bei was perfect.
"Qingqian".
The boy's voice came from behind.
As Ji Qingqian turned around, the boy was already close by.
He was wearing an oversized white T-shirt with a small smashed watermelon pattern on it, and perhaps because the temperature had dropped a bit these days, he had changed into black drawstring capri pants.
Actually, this kind of combination is quite common and ordinary.
But Ji Qingqian felt that only her little boy was special.
It's clean and refreshing.
"Um."
Ji Qingqian answered softly, "Let's go, you hold the umbrella?"
"OK."
Lu Yibei took the black striped long-handled umbrella that Ji Qingqian handed him.
When you open it up, it's quite big.
“This umbrella is big enough to cover both of us, you don’t need to keep leaning towards me.”
Ji Qing glanced indifferently at the boy beside her: "Last time you came back, half of your body was wet, and it was like I was bullying you..."
"Okay." Lu Yibei smiled, not expecting that the heroine had specially bought a large umbrella.
Despite his words, Ji Qingqian glanced up.
The umbrella still unconsciously tilted a little towards her.
No wonder they say love is like a tilting umbrella.
Fortunately, the umbrella was big enough that even when it tilted, Ah Bei's other shoulder wouldn't get wet.
The two walked from the doorway to the front of the dormitory.
"Where do you live?" Ji Qingqian asked.
Lu Yibei helped her move her luggage, but she didn't know where Lu Yibei's dormitory was.
Actually, it wouldn't matter if she knew, since she couldn't go in anyway.
But Ji Qingqian just wanted to know more.
"404...that's what happens when..."
Lu Yibei raised his finger, about to help Ji Qingqian confirm, then laughed and cursed, "Damn...did you see that? It's the one with the fat guy standing on the balcony."
It's quite eye-catching.
Ji Qingqian saw it at a glance.
Her eyesight was excellent; she not only saw the fat man, but also his encouraging yet loving gaze…
It was heading towards her and Lu Yibei.
The fat man noticed that the people below were looking at him, so he raised his hand and waved.
Lu Yibei gave Hao Zhangwen the middle finger in a friendly and gentle manner, and then turned around with Ji Qingqian.
"My roommate is Hao Zhangwen, you can just call him Fatty Hao."
He explained, "Everyone's story has a fat guy in it, and he's the fat guy in my story. Isn't he cute?"
Ji Qingqian nodded.
She is not good at communicating with people and doesn't know anything about physiognomy.
But when Hao Zhangwen looked at her and Lu Yibei, his smile and actions were full of blessings.
She must be a very gentle person.
That's great. Abei's roommate is just as good as her roommate.
"I think it's cute too."
As Lu Yibei pulled Ji Qingqian aside to warn her about the puddle in front of them, he said, "The second cutest in the whole school."
After avoiding the puddle, Ji Qingqian looked at Lu Yibei:
"Don't go on to say that I'm the best in the whole school... that's really lame."
Lu Yibei felt like a fishbone stuck in his throat.
Sometimes it's really unpleasant to want to say something sweet, only to have it all figured out before you can even open your mouth.
"...Then I have nothing more to say."
"Hmph~"
Ji Qingqian hummed softly, "Besides, I think if we're talking about who's the cutest in the whole school, there's someone else~"
Lu Yibei proudly puffed out his chest.
They say he's unsophisticated, but Lady Ji is just as bad.
He accepted the title without hesitation...
But before he could finish being proud, Ji Qingqian glanced at him:
"It's not you."
Lu Yibei was dumbfounded: "Huh?"
Ji Qingqian rummaged through her chest pocket and pulled out a bright yellow orange: "My aunt gave it to me when I left. When she heard I was going out to play with you, she even asked me to share half with you. You held the umbrella for me, and I peeled it for you. She's the cutest."
"Um."
Looking at it this way, Lu Yibei would rather give the title of "cutest" to his aunt.
It certainly has good taste.
Ji Qingqian's nails were neatly trimmed without any fancy decorations. As she peeled an orange, she said softly:
