Chapter 48: Meeting an Old Friend Again (1/2)

Sang Feiyu had no idea that the Ning family had been in such a mess yesterday. She went to bed early last night and got up early this morning to go shopping with Wu Xiufen in the supply truck.

Along the way, the two talked and laughed, and it felt like it didn't take long before they were together.

The two jumped out of the car, and Wu Xiufen introduced: "We get off here every time, and we get on here two hours later."

Sang Feiyu silently memorized the surrounding environment, so that even if she and Wu Xiufen were separated later, she would be able to find a place to wait for the bus.

On the way to the supply and marketing department, they saw from afar a lot of people gathered there not far away, wondering what they were watching.

Wu Xiufen pulled Sang Feiyu across the street and pushed through the crowd. Both of them were stunned by the scene before them.

I saw several people kneeling there, in tattered clothes, each with his head lowered and his back bent.

The two men realized belatedly that these people were receiving ideological education.

When Sang Feiyu wanted to look away, she was suddenly met with a strange yet familiar gaze. When their eyes met, a hint of love suddenly appeared in those confused and empty eyes. She shook her head imperceptibly, signaling Sang Feiyu not to do anything.

It’s Grandma Zhang!!

Sang Feiyu's eyes suddenly turned red!

She never thought that she would meet Grandma Zhang in Fujian Province!

After looking carefully, I found that there were two people on Granny Zhang's left and right, one was her daughter-in-law and the other was her son.

There were two children kneeling in front of her daughter-in-law. The children seemed to be frightened and didn't cry or make any noise. They just looked dazed.

Sang Feiyu quickly turned her head away, tears as big as soybeans falling down.

Seeing this, Wu Xiufen quickly reached out to cover her face, pulled her out of the door, and asked in a low voice: "Do you know them?"

"Yes, they were my neighbors. After my father passed away, they helped me with my father's funeral." Sang Feiyu said truthfully.

Wu Xiufen sighed softly when she heard this, "The world is going downhill!"

"We are just ordinary people. We can't do anything and we dare not do anything."

Sang Feiyu choked up and said, "I know."

But she still couldn't suppress her sadness.

Granny Zhang was the most elegant and particular old lady she had ever seen. She usually used prescribed utensils for eating and drinking tea, using different utensils for different things.

It was because she had seen what Grandma Zhang was like in the past that she felt sorry for her current situation.

She must be experiencing indescribable and difficult to summarize pain at this moment.

At this moment, a strange man suddenly stood in front of Sang Feiyu, "Xiao Feiyu?"

Sang Feiyu looked at the other person in surprise, with a confused look on his face.

"I'm Ah Niu!"

Distant memories flew back from afar, and Sang Feiyu asked in surprise: "Brother Niu?"

"Uh-huh!"

"Little Flying Fish, I didn't expect that you would look exactly the same as when you were a child when you grew up!" Ah Niu said happily.

It is worth mentioning that Sang Feiyu grew up in proportion to her parents. Basically, everyone could recognize her when they saw her when she was a child.

Wu Xiufen finally understood that the two had known Sang Feiyu since they were children.

She subconsciously kept a distance from them, letting them reminisce about the past.

"Little Flying Fish, have you ever cried?"

Aniu was very careful and immediately noticed that there were still tears in the corners of Sang Feiyu's eyes.

Sang Feiyu wiped away her tears and did not directly answer Aniu's question, "Brother Aniu, I didn't think we would meet today."

"You've changed so much that I almost didn't recognize you."

Ah Niu touched the back of his head in an uninteresting way, "How can there be no changes when you get older?"

He suddenly realized something, "Are you crying for those people?"
