Wanruo Jiyu stayed awake all night.
I got up early and prepared medicinal food for the old lady. When I entered Qiu Shui Courtyard, I saw Cuizhu was already waiting there.
"My cousin, the young master said that he wants you to go to Songhe Garden to learn the piano." Cuizhu said cautiously.
Wan Ruo frowned: "Doesn't it start at Youshi?"
"Maybe it's because you were busy a while ago and didn't have time to attend classes, so you should make up for it today. Please come early."
Wanruo just nodded and followed Cuizhu into Songhe Garden.
The doors and windows of the waterside study were wide open. Xie Xianyu sat in front of the piano desk, playing the piano. He was wearing a silver-gray robe and a brocade belt to tie his hair. His half-loose hair was gently blown by the breeze. His slender fingers plucked the strings, leisurely and casually, but the sound of the piano was clear and pleasant to the ears.
Wanruo stood outside the door, and suddenly a sentence popped into her mind: The man on the street is as beautiful as jade, and the young man is unparalleled.
He raised his eyes to look at her, and she walked into him obediently: "Cousin."
"Have you been practicing piano lately?"
"Yes, I practice every day now."
"Let's try it."
She walked past the door and saw that Xie Xianyu still showed no intention of getting up and giving up his seat. She glanced at the open window with some embarrassment.
"The window is still open."
"I asked Qing'an to guard outside the garden, so no outsiders will come."
Wanruo still looked at the shimmering lake outside the window with some concern.
"Come here." His voice was slightly cold.
Wanruo looked into his bottomless eyes, pursed her lips, and walked over to sit on his lap.
She raised her hands to the strings and played all the fingerings he taught her.
"You've definitely made some progress." He leaned over to her ear and said, "We're learning a piece of music today. Didn't you say last time that you wanted to learn Xiang Fei Yuan?"
Wanruo nodded. He put the music score beside him, plucked the strings with his long fingers, and the melancholic music poured out.
Wanruo stared at him playing the piano. Everyone said that Xie Xianyu was a genius, but she didn't believe it before. But now she does. He learns everything quickly.
A cold-hearted person like him never paid any attention to such sad songs as Xiang Fei Yuan, but the music he played could still move people's hearts, as if he was really in love.
After the song was over, Cuizhu came in and announced, "Sir, Mr. Lin has passed away."
Wanruo was stunned for a moment, her heartbeat suddenly stopped, and she turned her head to look at him suddenly.
His expression was indifferent: "I invited Lin Han to come to my house as a guest today. Since he has helped you, it is reasonable for me to thank him generously."
Wanruo hurriedly stood up from his lap: "Then I'll leave first."
Xie Xianyu raised his hand to stroke the strings, his voice cold and emotionless: "I'm here to thank you. Where are you going?"
Wanruo's face suddenly turned pale, her heart clenched and she couldn't breathe.
He really didn't believe her, nor did he calm down. He called Lin Han here simply to let Lin Han see her affair with him and cut off all her escape routes.
He looked at her, and his quiet voice carried a command: "Come here."
Wanruo suddenly felt a fire burning in her chest, and she was so exhausted that she decided to throw the jar into the air.
She gritted her teeth and said, "Since my cousin doesn't want to entertain guests, it's inconvenient for me to show up."
After saying that, he turned around and was about to leave.
