Wanruo paused while packing the medicine box, looked up at him, and met his gentle eyes.
She vaguely sensed an unusual atmosphere.
"You're fine now. I'm leaving first." Her face turned cold and she just picked up the suitcase and left.
Jingzhao was stunned: "Miss Bai..."
Wanruo didn't stop for a moment and left Zhang's house with her people.
Shopkeeper Zhang hurried in: "Your Highness."
Jingzhao frowned and looked at the already empty night outside the room: "Did I scare her away?"
Shopkeeper Zhang gave a few awkward laughs and didn't dare to say anything more.
Jingzhao asked him, "Am I that scary?"
Shopkeeper Zhang quickly said, "How could that be? Your Highness is handsome and gentle, what woman wouldn't like him?"
Jingzhao glanced at him, and remembering her sudden cold expression, he couldn't help but chuckle and shook his head.

Wanruo frowned and said nothing.
What does this mean, Jingzhao? Is he attracted to her? These men are so casual in their preferences.

His injury has recovered well now. If he hadn't done it himself, this wouldn't have happened.

Wanruo quickly covered her mouth and took her to the private room upstairs.
"Why did you come here?"
Wanruo poured her tea, but her heart was in turmoil. Xie Xiuzhu knew she was here, and she thought everyone in the world must know it.
Xie Xiuzhu drank the tea from the cup and then angrily said, "I thought you were dead. Why didn't you tell me you were alive? I was sad for a long time. My eyes were swollen from crying!"
Wanruo pulled the corner of her lips and coaxed: "It's my fault, I will tell you next time."
"There's a next time?!"
"There won't be a next time."
Xie Xiuzhu hugged her and said in a muffled voice, "Then I forgive you."
Wanruo couldn't help laughing: "You haven't told me yet, how did you find me?"
"I overheard my elder brother talking to mother. He's really too much. He found you but didn't bring you home. What are you doing out there by yourself?"
"I'm fine outside too."
Xie Xiuzhu wanted to argue, but she was immediately attracted by the various pearl powder beauty creams in the store: "Wow, you opened such a big store!"
Wanruo smiled and said, "You can pick whatever you want. Consider it my apology."
