The palace maid sent by the Queen was still guarding the door, waiting for any movement from inside, but unexpectedly there was no sound at all, so she came out.
They didn't dare to stop Xie Xianyu. They lowered their heads and waited for them to leave. Then they rushed into the hall to see whether Lin Han was dead or alive.
But I never thought, where is Lin Han's shadow here?!
Eunuch Wang's face suddenly changed, and he cursed, "Well, this brat actually dared to play tricks on the Empress! Go and capture him immediately!"
Xie Xianyu grabbed Wanruo and went straight back to the tent. Cuizhu and the others were still packing up. Seeing him return, they bowed and greeted him, "Master, are you ready for lunch now?"
"Get out!"
The maids were so frightened that they trembled all over and immediately turned around and left.
Xie Xianyu stared at her with cold eyes: "Why did Lin Han come to Beijing?"
Wanruo's scalp tingled, but she forced herself to remain calm and said, "How should I know? I just went to the palace for a banquet the other day. I didn't expect him to come at all."
"Then what is he doing here?"
"He said the Queen ordered him to harm me, but he had already harmed me once and didn't want to do it again, so he just climbed out the window and left without doing anything."
Xie Xianyu sneered, "You believe what he says? How can you pretend you didn't hear me?!"
Wan Ruo frowned: "But he did leave! What do you want me to say?"
He suddenly felt choked, and the anger in his chest was stuck there, unable to go up or down.
Wan Ruo said in a deep voice, "I don't know why he came to the capital, but he agreed to help the Queen with the funeral, but suddenly changed his mind. I'm afraid the Queen won't let him go."
"Look at you, you're still worried about him? He didn't hesitate at all when he sold you."
Wanruo glared at him angrily: "When you planned for him to sell me out, you didn't show any mercy to me!"
His eyes instantly turned sinister, and the aura around him became more oppressive: "Say it again?"
Her throat stagnated, her back felt cold, and her voice became a few notes softer. "I'm not worried about him. I don't know why he suddenly came to the capital and was used by the Queen. I just want to find out the inside story and see if he was deliberately putting on an act and had more plans, or if he had other difficulties and really wanted to let me go."
He approached her with a slow pace, his voice stern: "What if he really has other difficulties and really wants to let you go?"
She opened her mouth and subconsciously wanted to step back, but he grabbed her wrist and pulled her into his arms, forcing her to look up and look into his already cold eyes.
"If he really wants to let you go one day, do you plan to make peace with him? Rekindle the old feelings?" He almost gritted his teeth.
She was stunned for a moment, and suddenly became annoyed: "I didn't!"
"Then why are you worried about him? He showed you kindness, and you took it to heart. I've done so much for you, and you haven't even shown a trace of conscience."
The inexplicable sour emotion surging in his chest almost swallowed him up. He grabbed her wrist and approached her again.
Her face turned pale, shocked by his increasingly terrifying aura. She struggled to retreat, but unexpectedly stumbled and fell back onto the bed.
Instead, he knelt on one knee on the bed and pressed her down on it.
"It hurts!" she shouted quickly.
His eyes darkened. "Does it hurt? I'll apply some medicine and it won't hurt anymore."
Her pupils suddenly shrank, and before she could react, he turned her over and made her lie on the bed. He clasped her hands behind her back, holding them with one hand, and with the other hand he skillfully ripped open her waist belt and stripped off her dress.
She lay on the bed, struggling and yelling, "Xie Xianyu, let me go, you bastard!"
Her struggles were nothing in his hands. He held her wrists behind her back with one hand, and with his other hand, he picked up some ointment from the porcelain jar and slowly applied it to her back.
Her scars had already healed, and there were still a few shallow red marks that hadn't completely faded, appearing somewhat ambiguous and tempting against her creamy skin.
The cool touch of the ointment made her shudder.
He deliberately stroked her back lightly with his fingertips. She suddenly gasped, her body felt numb, and her face flushed instantly: "Thank you Xianyu!"
His eyes were dark, but his expression remained cold. His fingertips traced down her back, exploring downwards.
"Um……"
She bit her lip, her face gradually flushed abnormally, and her voice began to tremble: "You, you let me go."
Instead, he became unscrupulous and even worse. He knew her body very well. If he couldn't control her, how could he not control her body?
He tried his best to win her over, and married her regardless of ancestral rules. Even though she was right in front of him, he never felt at ease.
He plotted against her once, and she held a grudge against him. Lin Han had betrayed her the other day, but if he showed her some kindness, she would still be concerned about him.
In her heart, what kind of person is he?
She hated him for forcing her, so he would not force her one day. He wanted her to beg him herself.
"ah……"
Wanruo buried half of her face in the soft pillow, letting out a moan. He deliberately kept her hanging, and she twisted her body in unbearable pain, forcing her to swallow back the curses.
He rubbed her with his fingertips, his voice faint: "Does it still hurt?"
