Chapter Five: Xiao Qingyan Takes Xu Chumian to Find a Doctor
Xu Chumian didn't expect her second meeting with Xiao Qingyan to happen so soon.
Around noon, a commotion came from the courtyard.
"Sir, spare your life!"
"When the Embroidered Uniform Guard is investigating a case, don't even think about escaping."
Upon hearing the sound, Xu Chumian gestured for Liu Da to open the door.
As soon as the wooden door was pushed open, Xu Chumian and Xiao Qingyan's eyes met.

The more Dr. Chen listened, the stranger his expression became. He frowned deeply. Could it be the same person?
But remembering Zhao Yu's instruction to keep it a secret, Doctor Chen swallowed his doubts.
Doctor Chen approached Xu Chumian and carefully examined the woman before him.
