"Brother Yu, are you tired?"
"Luckily, I have a handkerchief in my pocket. Can you wipe my sweat for me?" Song Yaozhuo stretched out his hand to Yu Qiuchi; his hands were a little dirty.
"Okay, over there?"
"right."
Yu Qiuchi reached out to touch Song Yaozhuo's trouser pocket. Because the handkerchief was made of silk, it was a bit slippery and the same material as the trousers Song Yaozhuo was wearing today. Yu Qiuchi didn't notice it at first.
Song Yaozhuo was having a hard time. He regretted it. The heat from Yu Qiuchi's fingertips was ironing him through a thin cloth. He felt his inner thighs getting hot. Yu Qiuchi had almost touched him just now...
After Yu Qiuchi wiped Song Yaozhuo's sweat, she wanted to help him put it back, but Song Yaozhuo took a step back and said, "Just help me put the grapes on the trellis."
Yu Qiuchi didn't understand, but he did as he was told.
Song Yaozhuo stayed in that position for a while to recover, and luckily he was wearing loose pants today, so most people wouldn't notice.
"Song Yaozhuo? What are you standing here for?" Tang Ke had just gone out for some fresh air and came in from the side, just in time to see Song Yaozhuo standing there motionless.
"It's too hot, let's use a fan," Song Yaozhuo said calmly.
Tang Ke didn't care much. He had never suffered much before. Although his family background couldn't compare to business people like Yu Qiuchi and Song Yaozhuo, it was still a scholarly family. He had grown up surrounded by knowledge and had never been so tired.
However, he didn't just go out to get some fresh air; he went to the village chief and got two long silk arm sleeves. They were a bit ugly, but they were at least passable.
He gave Bingxiu to Yu Qiuchi.
"For me?" Yu Qiuchi looked up and asked, seeing the hand in front of him.
"Yeah, your arm is all cut and bleeding. You didn't even take care of yourself."
Yu Qiuchi's arm was covered with many tiny white scratches from among the grapevine leaves. They were barely visible unless you looked closely, but they hurt a little because of the sweat.
A glint flashed in Tang Ke's fox-like eyes. He pulled Yu Qiuchi's hand over and helped him put on the gloves: "Are you trying to make me feel sorry for you?"
Yu Qiuchi never expected that Tang Ke would change his target. He teased back, "Yeah, here you are!"
Tang Ke chuckled softly.
"Brother Chi, have you ever picked grapes before?" Tang Ke called out to Yu Qiuchi, who had referred to himself as such in the bar.
Yu Qiuchi squatted down and separated the spoiled grapes: "Really, no, this is the first time!"
"You've done that pretty quickly. I originally thought that rich kids like you were all too weak to lift a finger," Tang Ke said with a smile.
Yu Qiuchi really did a lot. I thought he wouldn't be able to handle it, but I didn't expect him to still be doing it here.
"You're overthinking it. I was very rebellious when I was a kid. I argued with my family and swore I would never take a penny from them. Then I ran away to help people move goods!" But in the end, I accidentally smashed everything. The ceramic bowls inside were almost completely broken. Not only did I not earn anything, but my dad also had to pay the other party a lot of money.
"Qiu Chi, were you rebellious when you were a child?" Xie Tingsi happened to overhear.
"What, you can't? I used to be so immature, so arrogant! I thought I was way better than my dad!" Yu Qiuchi spoke very frankly, after all, these were all facts, and they were all his past self.
Anyone can look down on him, but he can't; his past experiences have shaped who he is today.
Xie Tingsi suddenly thought of his high school days: "When I was in high school, I told my homeroom teacher that a relative of mine had passed away in another city and that I needed to ask for two weeks off. Then I lied to my mom and said that there was a closed training program at school. I took a hard-seat train directly to Beijing to see a concert!"
"Didn't your family find out?" Yu Qiuchi asked. He went out to buy an ice cream and someone reported it to his dad. If he really ran that far, they could bring him home and lock him up!
"It wasn't there when I first came back, but then, during the parent-teacher meeting, when we checked the accounts, it turned out to be Barbie Q!"
