Dean Liu coughed and said, "Comrade, Comrade Du is innocent. He is a colleague of Gao Songbai."
The man awkwardly touched his nose. "I was just asking routinely; after all, it's part of my job."
Upon hearing this, both Dean Liu and Du Ruoxia looked at the man with curiosity.

Chen Jianping carefully considered Du Ruoxia's suggestion before finally nodding in agreement.

After confirming that Du Ruoxia was staying at a hotel, they continued to keep watch, leaving Du Ruoxia feeling utterly helpless and on the verge of tears.
