"Senior year, we must insist that Gao Da's wife has nothing to do with us; she fell into the water on her own!" another voice said, somewhat agitated.
Du Ruoxia's eyes narrowed upon hearing this, confirming her suspicions.
"Stop arguing, all of you. Let me think about this." A deep, honest male voice rang out, and Du Ruoxia guessed that this was Senior High School.

“Come here, we’ll do it like this,” the man said again.
Du Ruoxia couldn't hear what they said next; she guessed they were whispering together.
After a short while, they resumed their normal conversation.
"Go take a shower right now, you haven't showered in days, you stink!" a man's voice called out.
"Hurry up, this place is too conspicuous. We'll leave after we take a shower!" That deep, resonant voice rang out again.
Du Ruoxia's eyes narrowed instantly, and she quietly opened the door and looked out.
Wang Hu has already come downstairs; he's probably talking to the receptionist.
Du Ruoxia did the math and figured that, based on what the others were saying, they would most likely take a quick shower and leave.
A few minutes later, Wang Hu came upstairs and saw Du Ruoxia standing at the door. He walked over with a serious expression.
Du Ruoxia gestured to explain the situation inside, and Wang Hu pointed down.
Du Ruoxia's lips moved slightly. Had someone arrived?
Wang Hu nodded, told Du Ruoxia to close the door, and then went into another room.
Less than five minutes later, there was a knock on the door next door.

"Absolutely! Look who saved you!" Du Ruoxia affirmed.
"I can still walk! I can still walk!" Gao Songbai burst into tears instantly, his tears of joy immediately attracting the attention of the nurses.
"Thank you, Comrade Du, thank you!" Gao Songbai cried, clutching his head.
Du Ruoxia understood his feelings. He was probably already heartbroken at that time, so it was a miracle that he survived. He felt even more blessed that his leg was saved.
