The corn cobs were half the size of those bought at stall number eight, and only half of them had fruit on them. There were several marks where they had been gnawed by insects. What shocked the old lady even more was that there was half a worm left on the corn cob, and the worm was quite large.
So where is the other half?
The old woman was instantly petrified, feeling as if the sky had fallen and the earth had shattered in her heart.
Once she had finally calmed down a bit, she let out a heart-wrenching scream.
"ah!"
Second tone: "Ah ah!"
Fourth tone: "Ahhhhh!"
The old woman stomped her feet and shouted, spitting out what was in her mouth, including her leftover food from the night before.
Those customers who were about to buy snacks quickly stepped back.
"How disgusting, ma'am, what are you doing?"
"Yeah, I haven't had breakfast yet. Aren't you deliberately trying to annoy me?"
The guests were furious and began to criticize the old woman.
The old lady had just bought her snacks and was standing motionless in front of the stall. People were already annoyed enough by her urging them to hurry up, and then they saw her vomiting like this.
She ruined my good mood.
After the old lady had vomited most of it, she rushed to the bucket of water that the Song family had prepared and scooped up water to rinse her mouth.
"Auntie, what do you mean by this? Are you deliberately trying to ruin our business?"
Seeing this commotion, the Song family members all looked grim. Song Dahua walked up to the old woman and said, "If you've bought anything, get out of here quickly. Don't come here to vomit."
The old lady finally recovered, but she still felt nauseous. However, she was now able to communicate with people.
The old woman snorted: "Why would I want to throw up? Isn't it because of the snacks you sell?"
“I’ve vomited like this, you not only have to refund my money, but you also have to compensate me.”
After she finished speaking, the guests all looked at her with suspicion.
"Hey lady, today is the first day our stall number six is open for business. Don't deliberately throw dirty water and cause damage, or we'll report you to the authorities and have you arrested," Boss Song warned.
"You sell these kinds of snacks and you still have the nerve to sue the authorities to arrest me? I think if you sue the authorities, you'll be the ones who get arrested!" the old woman said angrily, walking up to everyone with her snacks.
“Look closely, their corn cobs haven’t even fully formed, and there are many places where they’ve been bitten by insects. And this half-worm, I ate half of it, otherwise why would I be vomiting?”
The guests' eyes widened upon hearing this, and upon closer inspection, they realized that not only the old lady, but they themselves felt nauseous.
A child pointed to the old woman's hand: "There are two worms in the crack of the other corn cob."
The guests gasped in surprise and involuntarily took two steps back.
"My goodness, so many bugs! Are they even meant for human consumption?"
"This isn't selling snacks, it's selling insects."
Looking at the potatoes on the stall, although they were fried, the skin was partially greenish-black and the pieces were quite small, making them unappetizing, unlike the potatoes at stall number eight, which were large and golden in color.
Then look at those peanuts, they are half the size of those at stall number eight, less than the tip of a little finger, and the color is not uniform, some of them are dark in color, giving the impression that they have gone bad.
One customer tasted two peanuts and spat them out with a "pui pui" sound.
"The taste is off; I wonder if it's gone moldy from being left out for too long."
"I just don't believe it. Who would sell ingredients that are infested with worms? That's incredibly audacious."
A strong, burly man rushed forward, grabbed two ears of corn, and peeled off the husks.
