Chapter 352 The Blessed Army, or Is It You Whose Fault? (1/2)

For some reason, General Guan subconsciously glanced at Qiao Lian'er beside him.

Qiao Lian'er was also completely bewildered, saying she had no idea what was going on.

After thinking for a moment, General Guan said, "Even if there are geese to help us, it is because you are a blessed army that the heavens have sent down this auspicious sign. The credit should still go to you."

"Let's go back first, then we'll discuss the reward."

Everyone was delighted and exclaimed that General Guan was a man of great righteousness.

"Where did those geese go?" General Guan asked again.

Chu Zhuo: "Reporting to General Guan, after the battle, they ran towards that mountain, which is indeed strange."

Qiao Lian'er spoke up: "General Guan, I have a small suggestion."

"Okay, go ahead."

“These geese are so intelligent, they might come in handy in the next battle. I’m afraid we should ask the county government to protect those hills.”

"No problem, I'll send someone to the county government office right away to explain the matter."

General Guan readily agreed, turned his horse around, and returned to Shouyuan Town.

Qiao Lian'er exchanged knowing glances with her brothers.

This battle was so enjoyable to fight.

The men of the Qiao family were very fortunate; without Lian'er's blessing, they would all be reporting to the gates of hell by now.

Of these honors, if not 90%, at least 70% should go to Lian'er.

Upon arriving at Shouyuan Town, General Guan first sent someone to the county government office, and then assembled the troops to set off.

Compared to the hurried arrival this morning, the return journey was much more leisurely.

The people of Shouyuan Town watched the army depart from the city gate.

They wanted to send eggs, vegetables, and meat, but General Guan resolutely refused to accept them. He wouldn't take a single copper coin or grain of rice from the common people; this was his principle as a general.

There were three horses pulling three people behind them.

Their hands were bound with rope, and they followed unsteadily.

The burly man was Yan Sanxiao, and the other two were Song Laoda and Song Laoer.

"Damn it, are you guys out of your minds? Why are you taking me back? I'm not from your Daze Kingdom."

"As a citizen of the Kui Niu Kingdom, I know the situation is unfavorable to the Kui Niu Kingdom, and I can't even go back and report it? If it were you, wouldn't you have done the same?"

Qiao Lian'er's lips twitched. How could someone describe being a spy in such a refined and elegant way?

Boss Qiao looked at him like he was an idiot: "Of course we would do that, but if we get caught, we'll accept it."

"Brother, your patriotism is commendable, but your brain isn't quite right."

Yan Sanxiao glared at Song Laoda and Song Laoer with his bloodshot eyes: "It's all your fault, you two bastards! You've ruined my life! I'll haunt you even as a ghost!"

He spat on the ground and said, "What bad luck! I never thought that I, Yan Laosan, would run into you two ghosts when I just turned forty."

"I must have owed you something in my past life."

The eldest and second eldest Song brothers looked dejected, like eggplants that had been hit by frost, their faces ashen.

Even if Yan Sanxiao doesn't become a ghost, they will become ghosts too.

They regretted it terribly. Why didn't they just stay home and work in the fields? Why did they have to come and stir up this mess?

These are not games they should be playing.

The army marched slowly through the night, and arrived at Datian Village early the next morning, when the sky was just beginning to lighten.
