The atmosphere in Lan Yu's office was somewhat solemn.
Zhou Yanchen handed a document to Cen Yi expressionlessly, "Take this document to the court."
Cen Yi took the document and looked at Zhou Yanchen suspiciously. He couldn't help but ask, "Boss, what's in this?"
Zhou Yanchen glanced at him calmly, seemingly not surprised by his question. "This is evidence that Sheng Chu leaked company secrets. Now that the evidence has been collected, we can formally sue her."
Hearing Zhou Yanchen's words, a complicated look flashed across Cen Yi's eyes.
He didn't expect to collect all the evidence so quickly.
"Hurry up and come back as soon as you send the documents. I have other things that need your attention." Zhou Yanchen's voice interrupted Cen Yi's thoughts.
Cen Yi came back to his senses and nodded quickly, "Okay, Boss, I'll take it."
Although he was a little hesitant, he quickly picked up the document, turned around and left the office.
As Cen Yi walked towards the underground garage, he sighed secretly in his heart.
He had actually reminded Sheng Chu a long time ago to tell her not to do this, but she insisted on doing it. Now that things have developed to this point, he doesn't know what to do.
Arriving at the underground garage, Cen Yi opened the door and was about to get in the car when he suddenly heard the cell phone in his pocket ringing.
He put the document aside, took out his cell phone, and frowned slightly when he saw the name on the caller ID.
After hesitating for a few seconds, Cen Yi still pressed the answer button.
"Hey, you called me for something?"
Soon, Sheng Chu's voice came from the receiver: "Cen Yi, where are you now?"
"I'm here to talk to you."
"Is it convenient for me to meet you?"
Cen Yi asked: "Are you okay? What can you say on the phone?"
Hearing this, Sheng Chu's voice instantly turned cold, as if people could feel a chill coming from the other end of the phone, "Cen Yi, do you not like me anymore?"
Then, Sheng Chu said, "Weren't we on such a good relationship before?"
However, Cen Yi responded coldly, "That's not what I meant. I still have things to do. If you're okay, I'm hanging up."
Cen Yi's attitude surprised Sheng Chu.
But Sheng Chu did not give up easily. She immediately said, "Cen Yi, before I came, we often went to the tea restaurant to wait for you. If you don't come, I will wait for you."
After saying that, Sheng Chu hung up the phone without hesitation, not giving Cen Yi any chance to respond.
Hearing the busy tone on the phone, Cen Yi couldn't help but sigh and thought to himself: What does she want to do?
Sheng Chu looked at Cen Yi's name on the phone screen, the corners of his mouth slightly raised in a sneer.
She casually threw her cell phone on the passenger seat, started the car, and sped towards her destination.
Sheng Chu came to the familiar tea restaurant, she skillfully found a seat by the window, and ordered herself a delicate dim sum.
She ate the snacks slowly and gracefully, and she seemed not to be worried at all whether Cen Yi would show up.
However, when she was halfway through her meal, a familiar figure appeared at the door of the tea restaurant.
Sheng Chu's attention was instantly attracted, and when she looked carefully, it was indeed Cen Yi.
Seeing this, Sheng Chu's lips curled up into a determined smile again, as if everything was under her control.
Sheng Chu stood up and waved to him, "Cen Yi, here."
When Cen Yi saw her, he walked towards her.
He came and sat opposite Sheng Chu, "What do you want to talk to me about?"
Sheng Chu smiled and said softly, "Don't worry, I specially ordered your favorite snack for you. Try it first, and then we can talk slowly. It won't be too late."
Cen Yi's face didn't show much emotion. He replied calmly, "No, I just had breakfast not long ago."
"If you have anything to say, just tell me."
Seeing this, Sheng Chu picked up the tissue on the table and wiped the corner of his mouth, then looked at Cen Yi gently, "Cen Yi, how have you been recently?"
"I see you seem thinner than before, are you working too hard?"
Cen Yi was a little surprised by Sheng Chu's sudden concern. He couldn't help but feel a little strange and even a little creepy.
"I'm fine, nothing special." Cen Yi responded simply.
Sheng Chu noticed Cen Yi's cold attitude, and a bad premonition surged in his heart.
She took a deep breath and mustered up the courage to speak: "Cen Yi, I know I did a lot of wrong things in the past, but now I really regret it, but it's too late..."
Before she finished speaking, Sheng Chu's eyes suddenly turned red, tears welled up in her eyes. She looked at Cen Yi with an almost pleading look, choking and saying:
"Cen Yi, I know I was wrong. Tell me, what should I do to make up for the mistakes I made?"
Cen Yi looked at Sheng Chu, who was in tears, and felt a little confused.
He really couldn't understand why Sheng Chu suddenly apologized to him so excitedly.
"It has already happened. No matter how we try to make up for it now, it will leave traces that cannot be erased." Cen Yi said calmly, "What is the matter with you looking for me today?"
Sheng Chu suddenly reached out and held Cen Yi's hand.
Cen Yi was shocked when he saw this, "What are you doing?"
Sheng Chu looked at Cen Yi with tears in her eyes and choked up, "Cen Yi, what should I do?"
"I'm desperate now, so I have no choice but to ask you for help."
Cen Yi looked at Sheng Chu in front of him expressionlessly, stretched out his hand emotionlessly, and gently moved her hand away.
"Sheng Chu, I really can't help you with anything right now." His voice was cold and firm, without any hesitation or delay.
Sheng Chu widened her eyes and looked at Cen Yi in disbelief. She couldn't accept this fact.
"After all, we are competitors now." Cen Yi added lightly.
He looked at Sheng Chu, with no fluctuation in his eyes, only indifference and alienation.
"If you have nothing else, I'll leave first." After saying this, Cen Yi stood up without hesitation and prepared to leave.
However, the moment he turned around, Sheng Chu suddenly shouted, "Stop!"
Cen Yi suddenly stopped in his tracks, he slowly turned around and faced Sheng Chu.
"Cen Yi, don't you like me?" Sheng Chu's voice trembled slightly. She stared at Cen Yi closely, as if trying to find a glimmer of hope in his eyes.
Cen Yi's body stiffened slightly, his back straight, as if he was trying hard to restrain something.
"As long as you help me this time, I promise to be with you." Sheng Chu's voice became lower and lower, and finally almost turned into a whisper.
Cen Yi's lips curled up slightly, revealing a bitter smile.
"Sheng Chu, I did like you, but that was before."
"Sorry, I don't like it now."
