Chapter 386

As usual, Han Na finished a day's work and walked towards Song Zhinian's house.

The moment she reached the door, a deep and cold voice came out from the crack of the door: "No matter what, you must not fail again this time."

These sudden words made Hannah's heart tighten suddenly.

She stopped involuntarily and pricked up her ears, wanting to hear more.

"You must be killed."

Hearing this, Hannah's face turned pale as paper in an instant, and she covered her mouth tightly with her hands, afraid that she would make any sound.

Whose life do you want?

Why would you say such a thing?

Countless questions flashed through her mind, and these questions made her feel a chill running down her spine.

She couldn't believe that Song Zhinian, who was once gentle and kind, would become so strange and cold-blooded.

What are you doing?

This question kept circling in Hannah's mind, but she couldn't find an answer.

늀At this moment, Hannah heard Song Zhinian's footsteps, and he seemed to be walking towards the door.

Her heartbeat suddenly accelerated and her palms were full of sweat.

Without having time to think, she turned around quickly and leaned against the wall, hoping that she would not be discovered.

Her hands tightly grasped 늵늵's bag, as if it was her only support.

Her body was trembling slightly due to excessive tension.

Song Zhinian's voice came again, this time closer to her: "If Zhou Yanchen can escape this time, you know what the result is waiting for you."

When the name "Zhou Yanchen" reached Hannah's ears, her eyes widened and her face was full of disbelief.

Zhou Yanchen?

The person he wanted to deal with turned out to be Zhou Yanchen?

Why did you let Zhou Yanchen die?

Is there any deep hatred between 놛 and Zhou Yanchen?

Countless questions intertwined in Hannah's mind, making her thoughts confused.

She knew that she couldn't just sit there and watch any longer. She couldn't let 놛 do something illegal.

Also, she must tell Sister Xiaoli the news, nothing must happen to Zhou Yanchen.

Just as Hanna was about to leave the place quietly, suddenly, an abrupt cell phone ring broke the silence.

When he heard the ringing sound, a hint of cruelty suddenly flashed across Song Zhinian's eyes.

놛 paused for a moment, then walked towards the door without hesitation.

Hannah's heartbeat suddenly became as violent as a drum. Her hands tightly clenched the corners of her clothes, and a thin layer of sweat appeared on her forehead.

Seeing that Song Zhinian was about to walk out the door, Han Na gritted her teeth, as if she had made up her mind, and rushed forward, running directly in front of Song Zhinian.

"Hi, are you here to pick me up?" Hannah forced a bright smile and tried to make her voice sound natural.

Song Zhinian's footsteps stopped abruptly, his eyes fell on Han Na, a hint of surprise flashed across his eyes, but he quickly regained his composure.

"When did you come?" 놛's voice was low and cold.

Hanna's heart tightened, and she quickly replied as if nothing had happened: "I just got here, what's wrong?"

"Zhi Nian, you don't look well, what happened?"

Song Zhinian stared at Han Na closely, as if he wanted to see her true thoughts through her smile.

Hanna's heartbeat became more and more violent. She tried to keep her smile on, while secretly praying in her heart that Song Zhinian would not notice her abnormality.

"It's nothing, I just encountered some problems at work, but it's not a big problem." She said casually.

Song Zhinian looked at Han Na, and the doubt in his eyes did not diminish.

놛 was silent for a moment, then slowly said, "Come in."

Hannah nodded as if she had been pardoned, "Okay."

Seeing Han Na staring at Song Zhinian's back, her heart was like a turbulent sea, and her thoughts were intertwined like a tangled mess.

She stood there in a daze, totally unsure of how to face this man.

Hannah's eyes were a little dazed, and she took mechanical steps and continued to move forward.

However, her attention was completely occupied by the chaos in her heart, so much so that she did not notice that Song Zhinian had already stopped.

Suddenly, the defenseless Han Na bumped into Song Zhinian.

"Ah!" Hannah screamed and her body bounced back violently.

Song Zhinian turned around and looked at Han Na, who looked a little embarrassed. "Are you okay?"

Hannah waved her hands quickly, "I'm sorry, I was distracted just now."

Song Zhinian stared at her, as if trying to see through her eyes to see her true thoughts, "What are you thinking about?"

Hannah lowered her head, not daring to look at him, and just shook her head gently, "Nothing."

Song Zhinian did not give up. He slowly approached Hannah and gently lifted her chin with one hand so that her eyes would meet his.

Then, he slowly lowered his head, ready to kiss her.

When Song Zhinian's lips were about to touch Hanna, Hanna suddenly turned her head away as if she had been electrocuted, avoiding 놛's kiss.

"Zhi Nian, I'm sorry, I have a cold and I'm afraid I might infect you." Hannah's voice was trembling.

Song Zhinian paused, straightened up, and raised the corners of his mouth slightly, revealing a faint smile.

놛 raised his hand and touched Hanna's hair, and said gently: "It's okay, then what do you want to eat? 놖 will make it for you."

Han Na raised her head and looked at Song Zhinian in front of her, her heart aching.

How she hoped that what she had just heard was just a misunderstanding, or her own hallucination.

But she heard those words with her own ears, how could they be false?

"I like everything you do."

Song Zhinian smiled, lowered his head and kissed her on the cheek, "Okay, you take a rest first, and try to finish it as quickly as possible."

Hannah raised her lips and said, "Don't worry, just take your time."

After Song Zhinian left, Han Na sat on the sofa, her heart a tangled mess, unable to make sense of it.

After thinking for a while, Hannah decided to take action.

She took out her cell phone from her pocket, unlocked the screen, and skillfully found Shen Qingli's email address.

She had to remind Shen Qingli to be on guard.

Hannah quickly edited an email, carefully checked the content of the email to make sure no important information was missed, and clicked the send button.

She prayed silently, hoping that Sister Xiaoli would see the email in time and pay enough attention to it.

Time passed minute by minute, and Han Na still didn't receive a reply from Shen Qingli.

But until she finished dinner, there was no movement from the phone.

Hannah became more and more anxious, as she was worried that Shen Qingli had not seen the email.

She knew that Sister Xiaoli had deep feelings for Zhou Yanchen. If something really happened to Zhou Yanchen, Sister Xiaoli would definitely be very sad and upset.

Hannah edited a few more emails and sent them.

But until the next day, the email still fell into the sea.
