"Is that so? Then your uncle treats you very well, right? You must be very happy, right?" Chen Mei thought to herself, but a smile appeared on her face.
"Yes, I love my uncle so much." Lanlan was very happy over there.
"So when are you going home to bed?" she asked.
Lan Lan happily replied, "Mommy, my uncle told me to stay in a hotel for the next few days and not go back to the Li family. He said he would buy me delicious food and fun things every day, and even take me to the park."
The smile on Shen Mei's face disappeared.
If Lin Shouyu took Lanlan to stay in a hotel, then what reason did she have to stay at the Li family? In this case, the subsequent actions would be impossible to carry out.

When Lanlan heard this, she was scared. Just then, Lin Shouyu came in with a lot of snacks and toys in his hands.

"Uncle, my mom doesn't let me live outside and wants me to go home. She said my great-grandfather has passed away and I can't live outside and have fun." Lanlan answered in a low voice.
"Oh, I see." Lin Shouyu looked at her phone watch and asked kindly, "Is it your mommy calling you?"
"Yeah." Lanlan nodded dejectedly.
"It's okay, I'll talk to your mommy." Lin Shouyu touched her head and spoke gently.
Lanlan hung up the phone and looked at her watch.
After Lin Shouyu put down his things, he immediately called Chen Mei.
"Meimei, Lanlan was punished by Li Zhenting to stand in the funeral home today. She was not allowed to attend the old man's funeral. I settled the score with Li Zhenting and his wife, and they handed Lanlan over to me. I simply took her out. It's not good for her to stay in the Li family like this, so I let her stay with me in the hotel. It's more appropriate that way." He explained.
"Brother." Chen Mei immediately called out sweetly before saying, "Of course it would be nice for you to live outside with Lanlan, but not now. The old man just passed away, and as his great-granddaughter, I should observe mourning for him. At the very least, you should move back to the Li family, so that no one will gossip about you."

After he hung up the phone, he had no choice but to change Lanlan into mourning clothes, then packed up his things and took Lanlan back to the Li family's old house.
