Chapter 144 Please Don’t Interfere with Me

Seven o'clock in the evening.

Shen Ning arrived at the Li's Castle on time.

Today is Ding Ding's first day out of the hospital. To congratulate him, she bought a bunch of flowers on the way here.

The Li family castle was brightly lit, and many servants were busy at work.

As soon as Shen Ning entered, he looked for Ding Ding.

She is not interested in anything here and just wants to spend every precious minute with her children.

If the child is fine, she will be fine!

"Sister, tomorrow is my birthday, and Zhen Ting is going to hold a party for me. Since you are here, I will invite you to join me." When going upstairs, Chen Mei stopped in front of her and spoke proudly.

Shen Ning twitched the corner of his lips and said indifferently: "I'm sorry, I have to go to work. My job is just to take care of Ding Ding."

Would this woman be so kind as to invite her to her birthday party? Of course she would try every possible way to humiliate her so that she would not fall into her trap.

At this moment, Shen Mei's eyes fell on the flowers in her hand, and she frowned in disdain: "What are you doing with such inferior flowers? Throw them away quickly."

"No, I bought this for Ding Ding on his first day out of the hospital. It's a good omen." Shen Ning ignored her and continued walking towards Ding Ding's bedroom with the flowers.

Chen Mei became angry and rushed over to snatch the flowers from her hand.

Shen Ning had expected her to do this, and raised the flower above her head alertly.

Chen Mei failed to grab it and pushed her back hard.

Shen Ning was pushed to the ground, but she still held the flowers tightly in her hands.

"Mom...Auntie."

Ding Ding, who had been waiting for Shen Ning to come to the room, heard Shen Ning's voice in the corridor. He was happy and hurriedly opened the door to greet her. But when he came out, he saw Shen Mei maliciously pushing Mommy to the ground. He was so angry that he rushed over to grab Shen Ning's arm and helped her up. He turned around and glared at Shen Mei.

"Mommy, how could you treat Auntie like this? She is my respected teacher."

"Teacher Pi, Ding Ding, come here." Chen Mei glared, "She just came here to cheat money and get close to your dad. She doesn't know anything. Don't be fooled by her."

"No, she is my best teacher and the most gentle and kind aunt. I want her." Ding Ding replied angrily, "Please don't interfere with me."

"Ding Ding, these flowers are for you. I wish you good health and everything goes well from now on." After Shen Ning stood firm, he immediately gave the flowers in his hand to Ding Ding and gave his blessing with deep affection.

"Thank you." Ding Ding took the flowers from Shen Ning's hand and put them under his nose to smell them. His face, which usually didn't like to smile, was full of smiles and he couldn't let go of them.

Chen Mei now felt both embarrassed and helpless, and was filled with hatred.

Shen Ning ignored her and took Ding Ding's hand and walked towards the bedroom.

Chen Mei looked at the intimate backs of the mother and son, a cold hatred flashing in her eyes.

"Mommy, I'm hungry." Back in the bedroom, Shen Ning was going to take Ding Ding to take a bath first, and then play some parent-child games with him, but she didn't expect Ding Ding to say this.

"Didn't you have dinner?" she asked in surprise.

"No, look, my tongue." Ding Ding shook his head pitifully, stuck out his tongue and made a painful expression.

Shen Ning's heart sank, and when he looked carefully, he saw that his little tongue was indeed a little red.

"What's wrong?" she asked anxiously.

"It's spicy, so spicy, my tongue hurts." Ding Ding sucked his tongue and his voice was unclear.

Shen Ning immediately called housekeeper Luo and found out that today was Li Wanqing's fasting day. She had gone to church and had not returned yet. Li Zhenting had been delayed from work because Ding Ding was sick and was working overtime at night. Shen Mei ordered the kitchen to prepare all her favorite dishes, all of which were spicy.

Ding Ding was forced to eat a few bites, but the spiciness made him cry. He had no choice but to go upstairs without eating.
