"Huh?" Assistant Qi wondered if he had misheard and asked instinctively. "What 'huh'? Just do what I tell you to do. I need to see something by tomorrow." Xu Zhaoming stared at him with wide eyes.
Assistant Qi suppressed his anger, maintaining a respectful demeanor. "Okay, I certainly won't let you down."
The next day, Assistant Qi brought the forged ledgers and witnesses to Xu Zhaoming. "Very good, as expected of the person I chose. Don't worry, I'll take responsibility for anything that happens," Xu Zhaoming patted Assistant Qi on the shoulder.
"I'll listen to you. I'll act according to the circumstances." Assistant Qi quickly nodded to indicate that he understood.

When Yue Lanxing took Xu Zhaoyue to the meeting, he made a point of glancing at Assistant Qi, and only felt relieved after the other party gave him a hand gesture.
When Assistant Qi approached him that night and said that Xu Zhaoming was going to fabricate evidence, he knew that the horse farm incident had provoked the second young lady. Fortunately, Assistant Qi was on their side.
After Xu Guangcai took his seat, Assistant Yan announced the start of the monthly meeting.
The first department was naturally Xu Zhaoyue's Traditional Chinese Medicine Department. Gao Xing gave the report. Although her report was brief, she said everything she needed to say, and the others applauded in encouragement out of respect for Xu Zhaoyue.
"Next up is the Western Medicine Department, managed by Manager Xu Zhaoming. Who from your department will speak on your behalf?" Manager Yan asked.
"I'll do it." Assistant Qi stood up, and everyone else opened the second folder. In principle, each person had four folders in front of them, which contained reports from the three departments plus the research department.
Xu Zhaoming was still waiting for Assistant Qi to say what she wanted to hear, but the expressions on the other people's faces had already begun to change. Some people quickly flipped through a few pages and started whispering to the people next to them.
Xu Guangcai also saw the evidence inside. He was about to speak up to stop them, but then he remembered that all the key personnel from various departments were here. If he spoke now, it would seem too much like covering up for someone.
"This?" Assistant Yan glanced at Xu Guangcai and, seeing that he made no other move, knew that the Second Miss was about to officially leave the Xu family.
Xu Guangcai glanced at Xu Zhaoming's smug expression. It seemed she had her own ideas, but had been outmaneuvered. Xu Zhaoyue, on the other hand, appeared shocked, but this whole scene was largely her doing.
Just as Xu Guangcai was pondering, Assistant Qi began to expose Xu Zhaoming's crimes: "This is evidence that Xu Zhaoming asked me to frame Xu Zhaoyue, and the following few are evidence of her misappropriation of public funds."
The discussion suddenly became much louder, and Xu Zhaoming finally realized what was happening. "What? Who did you just talk about?" She stood up, but when she saw everyone staring at her, she slumped back into her chair.
"You're framing me!" Xu Zhaoming flipped through the documents, then threw them away. "Let me tell you, don't think that just because you put these fabricated things in front of everyone, they'll believe you."
"It's because you've already embezzled public funds that you thought of using this trick to frame others, and you want to shift all your previous losses onto them, and make me the one to stick it out."
Assistant Qi, holding the paper, showed no fear whatsoever. "You even threatened me, saying that if I didn't do things for you, the consequences would be unimaginable. Do you dare say that Manager Fang's resignation wasn't orchestrated by you?"
Xu Zhaoming was shocked by his resounding words and actually followed his line of thought to think about Manager Fang's problem; it was indeed she who did it.
Now Xu Zhaoming didn't need to argue anymore. During the few seconds she paused, the entire room was silent, as if they had already tacitly accepted the outcome.
"Alright." Xu Guangcai spoke up. "Dad! These are all lies. He framed us." Xu Zhaoming ran to Xu Guangcai's side as if he had found a lifeline.
"Slap!" Xu Guangcai raised his hand and slapped her across the face. "How could I have a daughter like you? Pack your things and get out of here right now. From today onwards, you are not allowed to set foot in the Xu family's again!"
"Dad!" Xu Zhaoming covered her face in shock as she looked at Xu Guangcai. "Meeting adjourned!" Xu Guangcai didn't even look at her and left.
The chairman had already left, so no one else dared to stay any longer. They all ran out as fast as they could, and Xu Zhaoyue also slipped out. "Miss! What's wrong?" Yue Lanxing immediately stepped forward to ask.
Xu Zhaoyue was indeed somewhat absent-minded. To others, she appeared to be the older sister who had forgiven her younger sister once only to be betrayed again, a sight that made people sigh.
However, some people were whispering about who was behind today's incident. "Hey, why do you think Assistant Qi would reveal his boss's affairs? Could he have been bribed?"

Xu Zhaoyue wasn't unaware of their discussion, but her expression remained unchanged, as if she was still immersed in the emotions from before, which made Yue Lanxing anxious.
However, Xu Zhaoyue did not expect that it was precisely because of their current performance that most people's malicious speculations about her were dispelled. After all, she looked preoccupied and did not seem to have won at all.
What Xu Zhaoyue was really thinking was that when Xu Guangcai told Xu Zhaoming that he didn't have such a daughter, he actually glanced at her, because they made eye contact.
